I'm sorry guys call me a idiot but can anyone explain to me how i can mute my camera step by step the meeting profile or something like that cause I have no idea how to do it. BTW I dont know if this was posted or not but when you press twice the + or - volume on the side the phone status comes up. Please help me with the camera mutation thanks. |

When you look pictures just select slide show and press joystick button to stop on picture so you can enjoy it fullscreen
0 # brings you to call list menu

In the Media player, when playing a movie/sound, press "1" and the time counter will show time left to finish, press "2" to go back to normal time counter.

I have a simple question - can i open a phone menu without a sim card? I heard it's possible using a some key shortcut but i didn't know it.

you can save "unlimited" sms by only pressing the right soft button and selecting to save message, you have to save it to templates thou as that use the shared memory on the phone.

Hi guys! I need help on my SE K500i .... well its not really a big problem..I just want to remove the "KASSHHHAAAK" sound on my camera. I tried puting my phone on mute but the sound is still there. Thanks guys! |

It requires some special hardware and it's not free either. I know of no other solution though.

Orange k700 users: you probably all know this by now, but
you DONT get a strap 
the camera shortcut is annoying, i like the side button
you get the annoying orange FW
all the icons in menu are orange, some different names, and theres 2 icons for orange world!!!

I must agree there, although the orange shortcuts etc being removed and the Strap, I'd still go with them because of their great deals on everything. They are great at everything other than f/w.
Also, I am starting to find the three icons on the idle screen quite convinient sometimes, I mean, on my unbranded T610, sometimes, when i got an SMS, i'd accidentally press no, and then have to navigate all the way to the inbox, but now, it is there on your desktop!

Thanks for the help guys! Oh by the way, I have already eliminated the "kaashhhhhhaaaak" sound effect in my camera ....I simply covered my phone speaker with a tape and guess what?? it works! But now have created another problem..I couldnt hear my ringtone. Anyway, have great day guys! |

Try what hazart taught you. Dial a number (those with automatic voice operator such as that of your Telco so that the call will persist and it's free), then turn on the camera. The 'shutter' doesn't sound when you shoot. |

1. Accessing the Service Menu - Move joystick right, press * key, move joystick left twice, press * key, move joystick left, press * key.
2. Checking Firmware Version - Move joystick right, press * key, move joystick left twice, press * key, move joystick left, press * key, press 1 key twice.
3. Quick Silent - To turn on/off Silent Mode, press and hold the C key.
4. Show IMEI # - press * key, press # key, press 0 key, press 6 key, press # key
5. Quick address book - holding down the corresponding number on the dialpad will lead you to the corresponding name in your address book. ie: holding down #5 will lead to letter “j” on your book
6. Still Camera/video shortcuts - toggle “1″ picture size, toggle “2″ nightmode, toggle “3″ special effects, toggle “4″ self timer, toggle “5″ flashlight, joystick up and down changes zoom
7. Show screensaver and lock keypad - press * and lock keys
8. Check phone status - When in standby screen, press volume button
9. Quick Connectivity - When in standby screen, “more” will give you options for infra-red, Bluetooth, silent, phone status and shortcuts customising
10. Screensaver clock on/off - Go to Settings > Display > Light > Automatic
11. Quick Silent - press the volume switch on the side and it will stop both the vibrate and the ringtone but it will not reject the call
12. Quick ScreenSaver - Pressing # and * at the same time
13. Backlights with Clock on - Press the volume key
14. Turn off camera Sound - Set silent mode on (this does not work in firmware R2AE033 onwards)
15. Pause Slideshow - Press left softkey during slideshow
16. Customizing joysticks - All 4 directions can be customized by pressing More on the main screen
17. Online key for SMS - Create a new bookmark with Name set to ‘Sms’, URL set to ’sms:’, save it and set bookmark as homepage
18. Online key for E-mail - Create a new bookmark with Name set to ‘E-Mail’, URL set to ‘mailto:’, save it and set bookmark as homepage
19. Manual brightness adjustment - While in camera mode, press and hold * key and move joystick to lower brightness, press and hold 0 key and move joystick to increase brightness
20. Read txt files - Send the txt file to your K700, open the ‘others’ folder, click ‘Send by SMS’
