Hi guys, the SO505i eh, while other camera phones are basicaly a mobile phone with a built in camera the SO505i is actually a digital camera with a built in mobile phone, if that makes sense. So thats why it may be a bit on the thick side.
I know something though,

by the way some people may have missed that there is a so505i and a so505is, notice the 's'.

This thread was supposed to be about the T650, yes. But since there "popped up" a new phone we're discussing it here too. The 'C' is just what we call the phone with rotating screen. You may call it the S505 gsm/3g or whatever you like but that's it.

ok, guess I didn't follow that. well I think I expressed a desire for something along the lines of the SO505is so if thats what we are talking about then lets hope it proves true

acually there are 2 SO505* versions - the newer one is smaller and not as thick

but you can clearly see that this phone in the video (some call it p200, some C model) is a european phone > cause they have the sony ericsson logo on the back and on the top in front - no japan phone branding > just in case any one is not sure about it |

Yeah as i said no visible imode badges. The advert seems to be aimed for the european market too with no asian writing

Do you mean that SO505i is the red (the new) and it's smaller than SO505i?And if the "c" is the GSM version of SO505is is it going to have the same functions display and etc.?One god knows... |

Let's sort things out:
- In the video wich can be a maximum of two months old there are two new models that haven't been seen before.
- The models are the T650 and the 'C', that's what we call them anyway. The 'C' is the one with the rotating display and the T650 is the smaller one.
- There are clear simularities between the 'C' and the Japanese S505i and S505is.
- The 'C' can't be a Japanese phone since it dosen't have the markings.
- Conclusion, the 'C' must be aimed for the european market. Therefor it is soon to be released.
Alright, I might have been a little fast at the end but it's more or less correct.

SE its been a long time I shouldn't have left you without a ryme to step to!
Just when I thought SE phones were becoming complacent, and I almost just decided that next month I'd be buying 2 Moto V600's I see this!!!! Good Looks like I can save a bit of duckets and get my wife a T616 (need the Canadian bandwidth,) and myself the T650 or that last phone featured in the video!!
I don't kow about those twisty phones like the SO505; unless its triband GSM/GPRS but still something about them.....guess its just too crammed with buttons and tiny writing. The screen should be the only thing overwelming in my eyes about the phone & the styling.
Fido & SonyEricsson rules. The first wireless provider to offer unlimited calling locally to others on the same network (no family plan needed, and on different BANs), & the first to offer nationwide (Canada based) calling to all monthly plan holders unlimited NO EXTRA FEES!! and unlike AT&T & Verizon (just announced 1 week ago) the pricing is very cheep ($30CAN). AT&T & Verizon Wireless charge (39.99USA) ouch!!

But you have to agree. Isn't that what we're hoping for? A super new  model, to be announced at cebit and shipped in april? That's what you all have been whining about, isn't it? A european model of S505i. I sure like it!
