I'm having problems trying to uninstall Sman 1.2. I get the error message "A problem occured during the uninstallation. Access denied". Any help would be appreciated.

@droll

when updating to v1.2c, do you have to remove version 1.2b first?

you shouldn't need to remove 1.2b. 1.2c should know how to overwrite it. that's how i'm installing it to my p800 anyway.

Yeah I got the same thing when I tried to upgrade. I used filemanager to manually delete SMan and then installed the new version.

Just an idea....after reading that Blujacking site and using Blujacking to get peoples attention how about getting a list of phones in the area and then being able to target them with a message at that point so you can start spooking/annoying, etc a person with quickfire different messages - a point and jack solution!!, rather than having to go into options change message and then jack them again...possible??? Worth a laugh??

I await your flames............

To people who cannot uninstall Sman, I've found a way to do it including removing it from the uninstall list, using a file managing program. I used "FileMan" , and I don't think the file manager the comes with the P900 can do it.

All you have to do is go through ur folders (including system folders) and remove any file containing "Sman" in it.

@mutleyboy:

Sorry, but SMan will never be ported to any Nokia platform.
