i did.. but i didn't post them cause i didn't try the same shots with the old firmware.. i was in a rush since i just stepped out for a quick work break.. sigh.
oh well. i'm happy with the results and hope they continue to improve.
now if i can just figure out a way to keep my lens from getting smudged

I know it doesnt look it, but this image was taken at night when it was MUCH darker than it seems in the pic...im very impressed by the low light capabilities of z1...amazing for a phone...usually I have my nex6 with me but this time my phone had to suffice...
@bonovox, are u enjoying using the miniature tilt shift mode?!?... fun isnt it...

Hey Bono, you did bono
Seriously mate, really great job! I think it doesn't get any better than this (with current IP software). How many shots you took before selecting those?
Cheers,
Miki

Thanks yeah took alot out of focus. I need a tripod as steady as my hands are. Often too auto focus is hit n miss in low light. It's usable and decent but not perfect

would landscape mode help? Had similar issues with N8 (and to lesser extent 808), and landscape mode pretty much eliminates focusing issues.
Cheers,

Yeah maybe I just sometimes get it in night shots. Daytime shots seem a tad sharper but not a huge difference after update

Good photos Bono. Get a mini tripod if you're shooting more low light or night shots.

Compared to night shots from the old firmware, you can really see the improvement. Still soft, but less compression now. Very awesome shots Bono!
