Again opinion, but that appears not to be the case with the S3, as mentioned by those tests on the sites mentioned.
Anyway heres my phone:

Yeah just a little disappointed with the 3 branding.
I assume its relatively easy to wipe if i root and install a custom rom ?
something i'll probably do months down the line.

Samsung Androids are probably the easiest phones to mod/debrand.
All you need is Odin on your PC and an unbranded Samsung ROM e.g. the UK one in your case, no need to root.

Had a play with one in CPW today. My initial thoughts:
- Screen is lovely, although you can see close up it's pentile, for normal distance no issues at all and very nice and high res.
- Interface is very quick and fluid as expected.
- Doesn't feel too big in the hand, yes it's large but not unmanageable, but I do think we are at the limit of phone/tablet size now.
- Camera looks improved, again, I think this is the best camera on an android phone at the moment.
- Glad Samsung finally got an LED notification light put on there.
On the negative:
- Build quality is still a bit suspect imo - nothing really ropey, but not premium, better than SGS2 but I would argue that the One X and even the X S have better build quality. Samsung really should have upped their game here.
- Still not convinced by Touchwiz compared to Sense 4, Sense 4 just feels a bit more mature imo. I think Samsung need an overhaul to Touchwiz to make it a bit more intuitive.
Overall, I would buy this phone, I really does feel nice to use and the screen is great. |

Erm Miss UK this Samsung had nearly 10 million pre orders so be quiet. This device may not be to my taste but it is ten million times the spec of the iPhone. Officially it has become the most pre ordered phone beating the iPhone. Who needs to wait in line for one like sheep?? And as for expensive as you said in another thread the iPhone sim free on the high street compared is over 600 or even more

Phone Arena reviewed the GS3 saying the camera often over exposes just as I remembered the GS2 did.

on there facebook page you have to capture a nature themed photo and send it to them
to be in for a chance of winning might be useful to anybody I guess who wants one

In the bright lights of a Carphone store I found the GS3 screen hard to see even set to full brightness. It was very dim in terms of brightness compared to GS2
