Have noticed the battery is not the best but still better than any Nokia. |

Just got my unbranded and unlocked C510 this morning from www.play.com for £149.99 (less 2 £10 gift vouchers I had!).
I'm liking it a lot so far.
The menus are noticeably faster than my W902 and the screen is MUCH brighter too.
It's a shame it doesn't come with a memory stick as standard though.
Ran it through SEUS and it already found an update from R1DA029 to R1DA032. No noticeable differences though yet.
Although its only a couple of millimeters narrower and shorter compared to the W902 it feels nicer in the hand and is lighter. |

Mine is R1DA032 as well its so far very stable with zero crashes in nearly 5 days. Fingers crossed it wont. Only one thing i noticed was once i went to take a picture the screen showed Cyber Shot camera came on then all of a sudden it showed Cyber Shot on screen again and went back to standby. But only happened once. Other than that zero problems. |

Can i ask someone please as i am unsure. I have this phone with Orange branding. Without debranding the phone can the software still be updated via SEUS even with Orange branding? Thanks.

Bought a completely unlocked one in Greece today for 195 euros at a chain-store. Very well built and its display puts the C902 to shame. The rear camera cover is also solid and original. Its signal capabilities are TOP and the earpiece is very loud which I consider very important for a phone. The photos it takes are quite good under daylight but the twin-led-flash is only good for closeups in the dark. The screen is actually quite scratch resistant but not mineral glass like the T650. It works superbly with my 4GB memory card. Overall it appears like a good buy since it includes all the modern technologies like HSUPA and advanced camera functions.
Here are some photos I took on the way back home.

Today I did some checking for all of those in UK. It seems shops on Oxford street are pretty much stocked up. Prices around 100 quid pre-paid from either 3 or Orange, where both phones have branding, and the Orange models have an Orange branded firmware. I don't know about the 3 software. CPW also stocks it at a staggering 199 pound, insane. Anyone really desperate in wanting one can pay me my tube ticket and a fiver for some food and I will go fetch one for you

Here is one in full size. As I said they are OK but not K810i.

Yeah there is some blurred bits to the corners but its like that on even the best mobile phone tiny lenses. Cant expect much from 3.2 pixels but in my current budget its the best there is right now. I am happy with the features it has for the price. The Orange branding i can live with for now and you can turn off the tool bar on left side. Orange branding is bit more bearable than Vodafone but still nasty looking icons that look like they been drawn by a child. Soon as it starts to sell i am sure CPW will start selling it on pre pay for same cheap price.

CPW already sells it prepaid on T-mobile and O2, 199,95 and 209,95 and you have to buy 10 quid top up. For now I think its best to buy it from play.com for 149,95 sim free. Or get it on 3/Orange and use a customize.upgrade.xml with a generic CDA to unbrand it via SEUS.
