I get that "Another application is using camera.." error a number of times, but not as much as another cam driver I tried. I suspect it is because of the larger picture file size taking longer to save and update the media index? (I think the updating of the media index is what causes a lot of issues with this phone).
BestPic seems to be more stable somehow as it was crashing a lot using the standard driver.. go figure:)
Will try the new version of your driver when it's available.

Yep, same problem but no-where near as frequent. I can't help but think it has something to do with teh increase in photo file size. I wish we could turn off the indexing updates and make it totally manually triggered. I reckon that would fix a lot of issues. |

I like Jupita Final camdriver, I think it's the best of all camdrivers I've tried.
It was snowing yesterday so I couldn't test it properly, but I think that the results are very good. Here are some pics, all on Auto:
