c902 does not have some purple fringing....i havnt seen one single 100% crop with c902 who have purple fringing...
Plankis, just FYI, in case you're not sure what purple fringing means (as it seems), here's an example using one of your own photos. The following crop is magnified to show more clearly:
Do you see that blue edge on the leaf. That is what they call purple fringing.
Note that I used one of your many 0.7 MP photos. I can only imagine what it would have looked like at full size... |

Actually, I think that's just light bloom.
But anyways, I thought we'd stop discussing the C902 here?

You beat me to that one! He re-sized for Esato because he knew we'd pull it apart. But on his flickr acount it looks like this:
That is Purple fringing.

c905 is sharp, BUT NOT very sharp...........or am i wrong ???
100% crop of the Church Picture. These bricks are at least 150ft away from the camera.
Original
100%
Any sharper and it would start to look unnatural. Ever since Digital Cameras introduced the world to affordable creative photography, certain folks suddenly became experts overnight. Any sharper, and we would lose the colours and details. It's the perfect balance of detail, and texture.

many of the esato users com to these kind of pics thread to enjoy the pics rather than read the discussion between 1 user and the rest of the esato members .. mind you that these discussions have been done in many threads before ... so can we please now carry on with wht the thread is intended for ...
Thanx

I know very well what blooming is, thank you very much. I reckoned it was just a slight case in that photo.
