i sure hope its not the last UIQ and im pretty sure it wont be.
I am also very impressed with the 5MP picture quality. very nice colors!
but being a P1i user, I am still reluctant to upgrade to G900 just for the cam. Im waiting for a true P series successor with faster Ram and Processor.
keep posting guys! |

Hmmzz....Looks like there is always this purpelish dye in every picture taken with the G900, especially when you see clouds or daylight behind trees or somekind.
I hope they fix it with the next firmware version, but if not it's not that big of a deal.I bought the G900 myself yesterday by the way.Great device.Didn't buy it for the camera alone, everything is just so good. |

that purple dye is actualy purple fringing due to a small photo sensor and small lens. that's a hardware issue not a firmware one.

I was afraid of that...But on the other hand, samsung also uses small (very small ) sensors and I never noticed anything like that? Also, I took some "test pictures" and 800kb for a 5mp picture is way to low !My brother's D900 with 3.2mp sensor takes larger pictures than that by moments!
So, maybe there is some room for improvement bij tweaking the software so it doesn't compress that much?A 5mp picture should EASILY be 2-3 times bigger than that... |

Anyone else getting weird yellow parts on their pics?
On my thumb (just appears on skin for some reason):
Around the right of the barcode at the bottom of this box:

It will probably not work. The MXE-60 flash is only compatible with the old 2 MP phones K750, W800, W810 and W900 AFAIK. Kind of odd really that it doesn't work with other phones as I thought the purpose of the accessory port was to allow changing accessories between phones freely.
Am I the only one that believe that the software developers at SE must be experiencing a really bad case of apathy when seeing so little new innovation on the hardware side?

i am very dissapointed with the macro option in the g900. it can't focus at close range. even my w810 or k550 can focus closer than the g900.
what's the maximum closest distance that G900 shoots sharp close-ups?
