Still Se is continuing their 2007 strategy which will repeat 2007.
1)w760i is announced in jan 08 and it will be available only in q2 why so long?
gives enough edge for competitors
2)2.2 inch only?
3)NO autofocus(2007 strategy)
4)No flash?Led(2007 strategy)
5)gps with such a small screen?
6)Not only Nokia but even motorola have starting floating 16mln screens,SE same old resolution
7)No 3.5mm jack, even motorola has started to intoduce it in their phones.

No wifi(a phone which is to be release in q2 08 should have this,)(all n series devices of 08 will feture wifi)
9)now we have to see if SE really has done anything good in terms of sound and build quality,
otherwise w760i,wont be popular
Positive i see is only gps and best pic,and lets see how the price is set for this device. If its
priced as w910i,then sure would be a miss.
Ah, let's see what you've got to say now..............
1. Long time? A period 3 months isn't long from the date of announcement to the date of release. This baby will come in April.
2. If you go any bigger, you'll end up with a bad battery life, less amount of features or larger size.
3. & 4. People buying this will buy it because they are music lovers, not because they need auto focus (99% of the globe population doesn't even know what this is for crying out loud!) or an LED flash.
5. As said, how about the 6110 Navigator from Nokia? I'd bet you don't think its screen size is small...
6. Obviously there's no need for this from the customers (CUSTOMERS, not gadget freaks like us!) and it's very hard - if not impossible - to spot the difference between 262k colours and 16 million colours. It's all about the display technology if you want proper colours - do a comparison of, say, K850 and N95, and see which phone has the best colour reproduction, viewing angle, sharpness, etc. By the way, check out your posts before posting, as they're full of mistakes. You're writing "SE same old resolution" - the resolution has nothing to do with the amount of colours, that you were talking about. SE's using the same resolution as most other manufacturers, QVGA.
7. Agree with you on that one, but as long as they bundle the phones with transformers, there's no such need for 3.5 mm jack on the phone.
8. HALLO, it's a feature phone, not a smart phone. And again, most CUSTOMERS won't need or use this, so why include it.
9. I'm sure they have.
So, if it doesn't live up to this, it won't be successful? Well, that's about the same thing you said with 90% of all 2007

phones and look what happened - you were WRONG. Same thing will happen again and again and again and again...

All you see is two positive things? Then I'd suggest you to get yourself a pair of STRONG glasses.
@RandomCarpet
It's an ambient light sensor for regulating the display back light.
