I think the update is, as yet, unavailable for Vodafone users. That's ok for me though as I have very few problems.

However, SEUS does say "Update not available", but I'm not sure what to take away from that. It could mean it is being prepared for updating as we speak. I'll keep trying over the next few days.

Funny that the K850i and W910i got their updates at once, and they seem to fix the exact same things! It just goes to show SE is well aware of their problems.

@KopStar: Yeah of course mate. I'm hopeful that "Update not available" means something promising!

well, first reboot this morning.

switching from photo mode to video mode in the camera, and then back to photo mode caused a reboot.

can't reproduce it again, I think is totally random... SONYYYYY ¬_¬

The new firmware has also fixed:

Mega Bass on loudspeaker.

In the last firmware it was that bassy that it became distorted. This issue has now been sorted

Hello everyone,
I need an advice. My W910i is from an italian operator TIM (I am from Czech Republic). There seems to be no "branding" as such (no wallpapers, ringtones, default bookmarks etc. connected with the operator). However, for some reason, my SUSE says that my R1CA029 is the latest available firmware and refuses to update my phone.

Recently, the restart bug has started to occur and the phone restarts every 10 seconds - therefore it is unusable.

I would appreciate any advice on how to force my phone to update. Thank you very much in advance.

I have R1CA039 unbranded (live in Sweden), and I still get the "No Update Available" screen. This is so annoying

A bug has just been found in the K850i firmware that was released at the same time. It's in media player, where if you have a theme which customises the look of the media player and you set media player to landscape mode, it screws up and goes black and white.

I haven't seen it myself as I have a W910i which can't be updated yet, but I was hoping someone would check this on their W910i to see if it's there?

Thanks.

Done. Set 'Hidden Peak' as the theme and flipped into landscape and it's fine.

Does Hidden Peak customise the media player? I guess media player for us W910i owners is the Walkman player which has slightly different software, so I guess SE got it right for us.

Thanks for that mate.
