Yeah the red W995 is very stand-out in the forum. Always draws my eye in.

Nope, I don't have a W995. I have a C902.

Kinda funny, one presumes that the ideology behind having only SE Avatars, is some kind of delusional affirmation that Esato is an SE site, it's way past time to wake up and smell the coffee guys

I'm sorry but that's just offensive rubbish.
Esato is an SE fan community. It has evolved to incorporate discussions about many different topics and manufacturers but that's the 'community' part. The focus is still SE even if they are going through hard times at the moment.
I like the SE phone avatars, without them Esato would be the same as every other mobile website. I also like the simple, uncluttered layout that often gets criticized as old school. Few websites are as easy to navigate as this.

I can see your point MWEB, but I think most people that use Esato like that it's a bit different and wouldn't want it to change. That would make it the same as any other forum. Esato has character, I wouldn't want to see that go away. Laffen has given us custom avatars, something I'd prefer not to have, but I guess it is a nice compromise.
On the Esato being an SE forum issue, carkitter is completely right in my opinion.

Hi Laffen
Sorry I've been taking up your valuable time lately, but I have 1 more request: A G705 avatar for my new phone that I'll be picking up in about 21hrs time (yes I'm counting the seconds too).
Many thanks
