They are both supposed to have the same camera hardware. Whatever differences there may be are probably in software. I'm in the process of deciding on one of these myself. I will probably pick the K770 as I am not comfortable with the lens being unprotected like that on the T650.

hhhmmm... K770 is cybershoot branded, which means a much more optimized cam driver. i also read somewhere that K770 have a different cam module...

he he he... ok, the only T650 pictures who looks super good comes from ONE phone, the rest of the pictures (all around the world) looks "normal" for T650.....how can it be like that ????
its not ONE phone, radiux posted a lot pictures founded on flickr from different users!

The T650i and K770i use the exact same software. The "cybershot" branding means nothing except for a name. Its possible that the K770 might have a better lens, but both have the same sensor. I've observed and compared pictures from both phones in great detail, and as far as I can tell they take exactly the same quality pictures. Any difference from one to the other is variance in hardware and manufacturing process. |

Thank you jigonx for those great shots, and for providing the full sized file images! They look so awesome in full size, that the 640x480 slides that you provided just don't do them justice. Here they are again... only larger!
Simply stunning! |

As for not being able to take good indoor pics, you mean ones like this
or like this?
which i've already posted in the past.
Hell, how about some darker light pics, taken by me
And i've already shown my comparison shot earlier that shows that the T650i CAN and DOES take better quality pics indoors than the K850, so if you're going to say that its impossible, you'd better have some more proof to back it up.

this is what i meant about weaker sensor... as you see with the Cafe picture there is really strong light (full daylight coming through from all big windows)..there is no bigger problems, BUT as soon its "normal" indoor light, like this Cat picture, you see the sensor/camera dosent handle it very well.

What do you mean doesn't handle it well? It handles it exceptionally well, considering this was a fairly dark room with no lights on. |

I am really amazed by the quality of T650/K770 photos. I had i-mobile 902 and I must say that they are the only CMOS mobile cameras that come close to CCD camera of i-m902. i-mobile 902 would produce almost similar photo as your T650i did. (I'm talking about that cat shot) Other daylight shots remind me on my old i-mobile 902 shots. But than again, T650/K770 use Samsung sensors, and my friends 6 MP Samsung P&S camera reminds me on i-m902 too.

I'm not out to convince him. I don't really care what his opinion is. But I do want to show others that the T650/K770 really does have an awesome camera, sometimes even better than what the K850 offers, at a much cheaper price! |

fanboy or not (who cares). i only ask some decent questions, but i never get any answers....
untill then, i really doubt some of this pictures is from a T650 (page 7 example)
