i just used wotan and it updated my phone in 5 seconds and all my files are still here: pics, texts etc...
i had to buy and account from wotan with 1 credit for 7 euros around £5.50 and then once they sent me the username and password i put it in the box in the bottom right hand corner then i inserted the usb into the computer then clicked start then inserted the other end of the usb to my phone and wotan done its stuff. thanks for having these forums up as i learnt how to fix my phone from this i hope my informaion was helpful in some way. |

Hello i have the same problem with my se k800i
i see 5 or 6 red flashing lights .. and the phone goes not on
when i try kulankendi or wotan i can not flash the phone when Press and hold 'C' of 2 and 5 there is nothing.
In this post people said that you need to install the SE update service.
i have tried that but there is also an point were you have to press en hold c . . . when i do that the installation is not going further.
The computer don't reconices my phone, the cable is good i've tested that with another phone.
Do i need the usb flash driver then?
can someone help me to install these driver. when i put the cable in the computer and the phone there is NOT found new hardware.
of is threre another way to solve this?
thank you |

The battery may be flat, that's why your phone isn't detected. Charge up your battery in another phone and then try it. Also, try installing the USB Flash Driver.

Ok, I can't get it working because if I have the same problem as all of you then your phone keeps connecting and disconnecting when you plug in the usb... |

Try using other USB port and check if the USB flash drivers are installed correctly.

Not working
Does anyone know where you get your login info for the wotsanserver client from? They aren't the same as your login details from the site...hmm |

Try using totalgsm client instead. if you really need online flashing client totalgsm seems to be good for flashing.

Totalgsm seems hella expensive compared with Wotan
I'm just curious at this stage if using Kulankendi to update erom it gives me the option to not update erom OR update to CID53 only!! If I do it this way and update it does that mean I will no longer be able to customise my k800i?

EROM flashing for K800 can be done for free with XS++ though... Download EROM file, and use it in "Flash MAIN firmware" box on XS++. Hit flash button then and you will have your erom flashed/repaired for free...
Works only with CID49/51 and 52 phones though.

I understand that, but where do I get the EROM file from, and more to the point how do I know which CID the phone currently has/had?
