I have the second latest FW and have some bugs in the web reader.
When I have the web reader in fullscreen mode and open the bookmarks sometimes the lower arrow in the scroll list disappears and I can't scroll all the way down, and when returning to the website the small menu icon in the upper right corner disappears too.
Is that fixed in the new FW? |

The only thing wrong with mine is the auto keylock don`t work.It`s never worked since i got the phone.If i took it to a sc,can they fix it?

I think Opera 9 on P990 isn't going to happen.  If you read that article again, Opera just said they were [i]planning[i] all that stuff for Opera Mobile 9, not that it was ready for release. It seems to me that no code is actually written yet...

if you read their boards youīll see they are working on opera 9 for some time...if it is launched untill the end of the year, i canīt see why it wonīt be released on UIQ3 Phones...we already had one update to it via firmware upgrade, so other may happen |

What boards? The news post says that "Opera Software today announced plans to upgrade mobile Web browsing by developing Opera 9 for mobile phones in all major platforms". Opera 9 for PC has had those features for quite a while, maybe you're mixing stuff up? (I'm not accusing you for anything, I'm just a bit confused...)

Hi all
Just upadted the FW on mine (at long last).
Just need to get all the stuff back on there now.
I'm guessing sync'ing with my pc is fine.
What if I do a "restore" - will that restore the previous FW or will it corrupt it with it being and older version of FW?
Just so I know - before I make a mess!

did you had lots of problems with the firmware version you had when that backup file was made??? if so, i wouldnīt restore it
if not, go ahead, but do this:
first, restore everything except settings
second, restore only the settings
i heard this way, the restore process works better

Just found out about the auto keylock.Looks like it only works with the flip on,unlike the previous pxxx,which worked with the flip on or off.

I cannot believe nokia e90 and e61i are so much better
I think Nokia has been looking at all the complaints P990 has been getting so far and given the public an options for a better smartphone.
this is a clear mesaage for SE to bring out some F/W for their so Called smartphone. |

this latest update causing auto restart more often than b4. had several auto restart when incoming call so annoying when i miss calls. trying to revert back to r9ea which was much stable. |
