so most of us like our K800 and we surely like the K810, but why does this phone score so low on gsmarena?

Well said Masseur! Add to that a little neon sign that says "read your manual" for all those questions that are well covered in the "good book" that everyone gets with the phone

A lot has been said already about keys but the biggest problem in my opinion is that the bottom row of keys look too close to the bottom edge of the phone.
Has anyone had a go yet? |

Waiting for k800 stock to clear first. I guess it is stop gap model before sofia. Maybe k800 stock is projected to finish before sofia ready.
Anyway to bad no hspda as it is a must in my next phone.
Edit: sorry not used to using t9

the bottom key row shouldnt be, if it's really just a rebodied k800. who knows we even might be able to reflash K800s to K810s (except that we wont have nifty camera mode keys lighting up). just have to wait til release time

Ok so it's thinner than the K800 but looking at the specs on SE web site the length and width are slightly bigger.
I'm gonna go all girly here but what I want is a phone that fits unobtrusively in my hand bag leaving room for my lippy and money, but I can still take a drunken photo of my mates that is decent quality.
As far as I can tell, this monster will need it's own hand bag (like the k800).
Even day to day , a phone this size is going to be an obvious appendage for either sex. It should be called the k810mugme!

Unless the k800 is going to be discontinued and k810 sell for a low price i dont see why SE would make such a phone considering the k800s real sucessor (5MP) will be out early Q3. Its like Nokia with the n93i when the n95 right around the corner. |

Its just 1 mm wider and higher while its 5 mm thinner, which makes its overall volume a tad smaller than K800. However, if you want a smaller phone you have to sacrifice functionality, because you probably won't find a smaller phone with same spec as K810 at present time.

Perhaps you should checkout the W880. It has worse camera than K810, but then your friends probably do not look that god after a couple of bears anyway I guess, so the fuzzy pictures will probably just improve the appearance.
W880, form over function.

actually the lower keys arent that hard to reach. like this model from ASUS
i have this phone.. and really its not hard to reach.. well coz maybe the size of the phone... it is big as K750i.
but can you guys tell me the screen size of K810.. it was never mentioned on the site. or maybe it slipped my eyes.
EDIT:: whoops... its 2.0" meaning its bigger that 176*220. sheesh
