Well I've tried it and its great, just as it was for my P910i but cancelled my order with TomTom direct as they sent me a reply still saying its not compatible with UIQ3 ?!!???!!
Will wait until they officially say its supported before I buy it now incase I have any trouble after paying £100 and them say "sorry, it doesn't work on your device"!! Will stick with my P910i for Nav until then. |

I just cannot get this tom tom to install on my p990. I unzip the file straight onto mem card. Then install in normal way. It says installing for 1 second then just closes down and nothing is installed.
What am i doing wrong. Please help

Copy the *contents* of the 'copy 2 disk' folder to the root directory not the folder itself then it will install automatically

That solved the problem. I had the files in a subfolder (trying to keep my MS nice and tidy).

Hi all.
Does anyone know whether this will work with the W950i?
I had assumed this used the same O/S as the M600, and the M600 appears to work for people, but the W950 has no memory card slot.
It does have a big chunk of memory though...
Anyone with experience of installing to M600 or P990i might be able to make a reasonable stab at a guess... |

As it is designed to run from a memory card, you may have difficulty in choosing where to install it.
Hopefully, there is a folder on the internal memory, where you can install programs.. and then copy the tomtom folder there, then run the install.

Actually, does Tomtom release a keygen for their product? I think it smells piracy here

How do I change from the UK map to the Scandinavian map. I have copied the Scandinavian folder to the root of my card. |

tap the screen and you'll see a menu.. go to preferances.. and on the fourth page i meant you have "administrate maps" or something similar.. there you can choose which map you would like to use..
