^transparent top and bottom bars?? do you mean the notification bar and the navigation bar? if so, those can easily be changed with a custom launcher..

Most of the time I prefer white, but with Honami I think black is better because of the silver metal frame around it, should compliment the black color quite well.
So the only thing unknown about Honami is if it will be offered in 32gb variant? Anyway, imo they should offer 16gb and 32gb models , android nowadays hates installing to the SD card and the heavy games usually reach a gigabyte each.

I used Sony's new "Honami" UI, and I must say, the animations they used and the subtle blacks made the phone feel bouncy, fluid ans elegant. It just feel different.
But Sony should really scrap using the experience flow wallpaper. The red autumn leaves really makes the screen more standout. |

On that note, PDADB has some specs listed, but I have a hard time believing them. According to that, Honamini is 58 x 109 x 7 mm with a 4,3" 720p display. That would leave almost no bezel at all. I made some quick calculations, disregard the render I used, it's just for proportions. If Honamini has these dimensions, it should have just a 4" screen. If it has a 4,3" screen, it should be bigger. iPhone 5 for good measure.

My Xperia S have first year anniversary earlier this month, and actually I would change new device every 2 years.
But as my local operators start deploying latest HSPA+ and LTE networks in major cities.
I would like to use it fully utilize from what I pay for, Honami would be best candidate successor to Nozomi.
Snapdragon 800 would serves me well until ARMv8 has fully implemented to Android.

Yes. I'll probably install Nova Launcher, should make the device look nearly like it's a Nexus with the on screen buttons. I'll see when I get it though |

White one looks to be from an event for press prior to launch of honami.
I feel the official photos will make it look better, I hope. |

i'm very curious if there will be any surprises left about Honami to wow everyone, especially after all these leaks. Would be nice if there were a few things though.
I guess the surprises, if there are any, will come in the form of devices/accessories no one knows about.

Damn, that looks nice.
Little things make it nicer than current launcher. Hopefully all 2013 devices will get this UI update.
As for Z Ultra it seems that it was running either .483 or .493 firmware (couldn't see clearly) with X-reality engine and smoothly as hell
Can't wait to see how Honami will work and what exciting features it got that we don't know about. |

^^ Maybe Sony edited the picture, so that they can tease the picture with megapixel count and f number or sensor size in the next days.
