I'm not so fond of the sushi but the yakiniku, yakitori and the ebi-fry are DELICIOUS! If you're going to try japanese food then those are the ones you should test.
Yakiniku, meat that's been meda in a really good sauce.
Yakitori, chicken which has been fried in a special way.
Ebi-fry, deepfried giant shrimps.

Hey I'm back!
Funny thing, one third of the dishes at the resaurant were japanese 
I was a bufféy so I ate like a ton. Yakiniku, yakitori, miso-soup, rice, and then cocktailfruit for dessert.
