You guys are very lucky with your data rates... No wait, us New Zealanders are just very unlucky! I should come to South Africa whenever I want to use gprs when I'm out and about, cause after airfares and everything, it would probably still work out cheaper! I don't think our data rates have ever changed since we first got GPRS either. I know some tricks to get near free data on prepay though, hehe. The cellular coverage here is decent enough. If you go to very small towns or somewhere quite remote, you're likely to find no signal at all, but if you stick to main routes and towns and cities, the coverage is fine. Im not sure, but I don't think we have HSDPA yet. I haven't yet seen an "H" on my W910i.

The W910i is very good so far, and the UI is great. It takes a bit of getting used to with the new softkey layout and slightly changed menus, but it's fine! My only complaint is how terrible it is at handling certain games, but I expect that to change with new firmware (and apparently theres a new one, so I'll try updating tonight).

not a bad idea will have to wait to see if they can implement it smoothly enough..maybe the next craze in cell phones if they market it right.

Jmash, http://www.ipmart-forum.com is definitely the place to visit if you're after books. They have a really good selection, and cover most popular authors.

Hobbs, Digital Fortress is BRILLIANT!! Absolutely loved it!! I read some books by Steven Gould over the past few weeks, excellent stuff. Try reading Jumper, it's pretty good. Then there are the Remo books by Warren Murphy. I grew up reading those, lekker pulp fiction. I was pleasantly surprised to find an entire collection of his books on ipmart, 60 of them in all, lol. Managed to read the first 20 to date *sigh* i lurve Mobipocket

I have to agree about ip-mart being good, but i like the way our layout @ http://www.powerbookspinoy.com/index.php is easier to browse.

Wow, there's a guy on eBay selling 4 brand NEW R320s phones, for 24.99 (approx R350) each.

Wonder where these having been lying unused for the past 7 or 8 years...
Amazing what crops up on the site from time to time.

Gave it a miss, from the pictures in the Cape Argus it looks like a bit of a disappointment...guess I'll have to check out the next one in seven years.

Do you guys know that with improved speeds you actually end up using more data? I mean, HSDPA 3,6 is ridiculously fast...if all the planets are in perfect alignment you could theoretically have a massive pipe in your pocket but in the same breath it should also blast a hole in your already ripped pocket.

Check out the user beware warning on YouTube's mobile site.
