I think they are using the wrong outline. It's obvious that there's some motion blur in this picture, may it because it's a fake or because he used his blurry cam is not relevant for that. But you can see there are two Sony logos on top. IMHO the upper is caused by the blur and the lower one is from the "strong" outline. Also, with extreme manipulation of the lighting of this picture, you can amplify the contrast of the screen's blueish black to the body's black.
So we're more at this:
But am I the only one who thinks it just looks like an XZ?
maybe it's not the Honami mini?
Should be Xperia P's successor,C430X,or unknown C360X device.
C430X DON'T exist.....

If you hadn't noticed, waiting for official word is NOT something this forum does very well
Of course we'll have to wait for official word to know what's what, but in the meantime people here will tear over every shred of available info to try and figure it out. It's what we do. |

maybe water proof is not on this one or maybe it's a pair with Honami similar to V pair with T. |

Well that phone being Honami Mini does raise some questions, whether it has a 4 or 4.3" display. Namely considering the only differences are supposed to be the battery and the screen, why does full size Honami has such a large bezel in comparison?
I'd say the most likely conclusion is full size Honami has the bigger, better camera and that required the huge bezel at the top. Sony is of course all about its omni-balance design so the bottom bezel had to also be larger. Fortunately this allows for the new speaker design down there too.
If my theory is correct, and IF this phone is Honami Mini, I doubt it has the same 20 MP camera. I'd say the best we can hope for is the 13MP Exmor RS. |

Since the start of the rumours, it was said it would be a Honami, but smaller, with lower res and size screen, smaller battery AND camera... You are right, but it has never been said it would have the same camera...

There are rumors floating about claiming Honami Mini is supposed to have the same camera. It all depends on which insider you listen to.
Considering Honami Mini is supposed to directly compete against the next iPhone, it having a 13MP Exmor RS sensor with the new JPEG algorithm and whatnot would be perfectly acceptable. Even moreso if it also had a new Sony G lens to go with it.
Ah well, wait and see I suppose |

This is great! THIS will be the killer device Sony need to gain consumer and sell more units:) Surely Honami is a beast and has killer specs, but IMHO it is still too big to be a massive seller... A 4''/4,5'' phone it's the real game changer!!! And with this specs it will be sold like hot cakes if priced correctly!
No other Android devices has this specs and this dimensions, S4 mini and HTCOne mini surely are little but the specs are subpar... I would never buy one of them!!! Let alone iPhone 5s which specs are not even comparable (I know it's different OS and system but still the specs are underwhelming)...
All in All I will still buy the Honami! I want a mammoth device with killer specs, 5'' of pure TRILUMINOS beauty! I had a 3GS for 4-5 years as of now and with my future phone I want to sense the difference in every aspect! Especially the screen!! A passage from 3,5'' to 4'' would be too small, I wouldn't no And Honami will be a big step up!!ife the differ de so much!
The first days I will keep the 3GS with me to really have the sense of difference between the two! I want to be satisfied:P my 3GS needs to be put to shame!!! lol! (Just joking my beloved 3GS, although you have a crappy closed system you were loyal till the end!) |

in my humble opinion if there is to be a mini of some sort it will be 4.5" and some sacrifice will have to be made most likely the battery and maybe the camera but depends on depth, smaller size but chunky, we can't have it all |

wonder how active this thread will be after Honami announcement. If i remember correctly, there are no other devices rumoured for 2013. |

The Mini will almost certainly have a 720p screen meaning the overall size of the phone can be smaller, and the battery doesn't have to be nearly as large because the screen won't draw as much power as full size Honami, and the phone doesn't have to work nearly so hard to push as many pixels as a full HD screen.
All insiders are claiming a 4.3" screen for Honami Mini. Let's see how it goes I suppose. |

I have to imagine that at least one of the insiders has info on the 2014 models. Ramu posted some info not too long ago. Once all the 2013 models are out of the way then we can feel free to begin discussing the next years models in a nice, new thread |
