i have g900 and x1, my girlfriend has w960. i love uiq, the w960 is a nice phone i like the big screen. i loved my p990 because of the screen.
the problem is the screen is only 320 x 240. so the bigger the screen the worse the picture. the x1 has 800 x 480 is very nice looks HD
I think the G900 is the best ever uiq3 phone.

very good speaker with mod
small
stylish
i use the g900 as a bluetooth music player with powerMP3
wish uiq could live forever, but its dead

Is it still worth it to buy a G900 since UIQ is dead? And are there actually that many software problems that it might break?

It depends on what you want to use it for...
Probably there will be no more extra applications or more hacks in the long term, but it's still a nice phone to use, it can be used for many many things.
For me it's a very good phone, just upgraded the software to the latest. It is way faster than my W960, and still has the "small" size of a cellphone, unlike other UIQ devices, except for G700. |

the blue is a fake as far as i know there has been no blue g900 released
