the screen dimensions don't look accurate to me when looking at the photo itself, but the answer in just in a few days. so we'll see who's right.

I think they are using the wrong outline. It's obvious that there's some motion blur in this picture, may it because it's a fake or because he used his blurry cam is not relevant for that. But you can see there are two Sony logos on top. IMHO the upper is caused by the blur and the lower one is from the "strong" outline. Also, with extreme manipulation of the lighting of this picture, you can amplify the contrast of the screen's blueish black to the body's black.
So we're more at this:
But am I the only one who thinks it just looks like an XZ?

spot on. this is what i tried to explain to him, but my english is not the best, not like my native language anyway. your drawing is much more accurate although to me the dimensions are tiny bit smaller then what you draw. as i wrote, i mean the upper sony logo is the shadow of the lower sony logo so it's not accurate to draw a line on top of the real sony logo (the lower one) like he did. anyone should be able to notice that.
yes, it looks like mini xz. seems like natural evolution - mini version of xz - this is the honami mini imo. similarly to upcoming iphone 5c - mini iphone 5 probably.

I think the 4.3" overlay is a little wrong. the screen is marked right up to the frame of the device. I'm sure that's technically possible, but very unlikely. I go with xell's 4" as correct.
Also, because of the ghosting the device is actually either to the top of the ghosting or the bottom. The black outline is merely where the two ghosts overlap. Am I the only one who sees that?
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Wasn't someone hinting that Honami Mini might be out in Japan by December? If so I suppose it could make some degree of sense for them to show it off at IFA if it'll be launching somewhere within a couple of months.
Also, anyone else notice on the original photo we have some obstructions in the bottom corners? Hidden camera maybe? |

When we take account that this device looks like the Xperia Z and its screen will be very likely about 4", then the logical consequence would be that this could be the Xperia Z mini, the predecessor of the Honami mini
Only ten days to go

I don't think it'd be a mini version of the Xperia Z. Isn't the S4 CPU supposed to be discontinued by now or something? If this is indeed a high end device it'd either be running S600 or S800, and Honami Mini is rumored to use S800, so I guess that's the most likely conclusion on what this is running... assuming again that it's a high end device.
BTW, interesting to compare this phones dimensions against the Xperia Ray. This phone is approx 109.24 x 57.88mm, and Xperia Ray is 111 x 53 x 9.4 mm
Would be absolutely phenominal if Sony can fit a roughly 4" screen into such a device along with S800, 2400mAh battery and who knows, maybe Honamis camera? Although for such a device I'm more likely to think it'd have either an 8 or 13mp Exmor RS sensor. |

maybe it's not the Honami mini?
Should be Xperia P's successor,C430X,or unknown C360X device. |

Well how certain are the insiders that Honami Mini will have a 4.3" display? If it does, then the chances of this being Honami Mini are VERY slim, unless Sony has a near bezel-less design. Plus the lack of a camera shutter would be disappointing on Honami Mini too. |

The corners of the Honami mini, or whatever that phone is that you guys have just discussed; seem to be way too sharp. Honami's corners are meant to be quite softer. The corners in the above photo are even sharper than those of the Z !

Nightwing, the photos just above your post have black boxes drawn around the phones, making them appear sharp.
Go back a couple of pages and look at the phones as they were originally posted. The Sony phone is nice and round on the edges. |

^^Yeah, and I don't like those red markings on the screen, I mean it would cover the display! WTH Sony?
