Asking for Xenon flash on a 9mm thick device is like asking for a miracle

The only way to accommodate it is to have a hump.. then the device can be 8mm with 11-13mm at the camera. There is no way around it with the current tech..

Actually they can, but for logical reasons they don't do it, they will need a place in the phone that doesn't have anything else ( no display / battery ) so the logical place here is the top or bottom portions but both have plenty of things including the motherboard, camera, speakers, audio jack, etc... so they will need to add more padding at the top or bottom of the screen to add such functionality which is not logical at all, that's why all phones with xenon flash have this hump.. as doing it the other way is not logical for phone designs with current tech.

Guys don't forget the c901 it was 13mm thick but has a xenon + lens cover, I believe putting xenon on at least 10mm thick body is quite possible if you remove the lens cover. I think the reason for the need of a camera hump is if you are going for a larger sensor or a larger xenon.

Please don't include the same images when quoting. Adds plenty of unnecessary viewing.....

very poor analysis of the screen size. it's clear that the dimensions of the screen are smaller then the analysis presents. don't you see that? the bottom sony logo is the accurate one so you can't cut it with the top dimensions of the screen. this means that the top and bottom bezels will be larger then what is presented. come on, you have eyes. it's clear as the sun in the sky.
seems like the screen will be a bit smaller then 4 inch, maybe 4 inch.

This device above is not Honami Mini/Ray3! The screen is max. 4" big. I think even smaller, between 3.5 - 3.8").
You can't put Ray3 specs in this tiny thing... It's smaller than a ARC (125 x 63 x 8.7 mm) ...

@ amirprog

it's really accurate analysis, I tried to calculated myself the display size my self

1- you need to proximate the actual dimensions of the display ( lenght & width ) in mm .

2- the calculate the diagonal side by pythagoras theorem

3- then convert it form (mm) to ( m) → ( inches )

I myself end up with 0.11 meter which is roughly 4.33 inches ..
