@macdid,
The new firmware speed up your start-up as well as shut-down and delete the "Games" and replaced with another three games coz the "Games" caused it hang most of the time. Better GPRS connections for your WAP and Email. |

I contacted T-Choice and Steven, the General Manager (Sales & Marketing) informs me that they will be receiving limited stock of P800 before CNY and more importantly the official launch for P800 in Malaysia is in Feb and not Jan as in Singapore! RRP is RM2999.
As usual Singapore will be first... damn sh*t!
Has anyone been to AA Mobile in Taman Maluri, Cheras? Their ad. in the Star newspaper yesterday and today advertises that they have the P800 and selling at RM1899...

@starter: AA Mobile's units DOES NOT come with warranty...they claim it's local warranty but the handset's are actually AP (parallel import units)...a fren of mine got the t68 from them at RM900 and it comes with a warranty card but when he went to ericserve to upgrade the software, they said the warranty card is not usable......he brought the phone back to AA and ask for a upgrade and wuz told he'll hafta pay RM50 for it...if u ask me, its a lousy deal....
moral of story: if it sounds too good to be true, it's too good to be true!!
Moral#2: if it looks, smells, feels and tastes like a fish, by golly, IT IS A GOD DAMN FISH!!!
so caveat emptor ok!!

@Starter;, @shithappens;,@fulat;,
Anyway,P800 for RM1900 at AA Telecom is with maxis m-plan subscription BUT the phone is not in M'sia yet. The phone alone without line is RM2999. I called them up just now, the warranty is from SE not local/shop. I don't understand why these people advertise it in the first place when not having the goods!!!!
Cheers. :???:

Hi Y'all.
Great to see such a strong forum of SE users here. I recently have just seen the light after being a hardcore Nokia User for 7 years. Got a T68i and have to say that it certainly rocks. BTW, just tried out the P800, and ..... OMIGOSH!! It rocks even harder!!! Really must do some heavy duty angpow collecting man heheee....
Anyway, just to drop by and say hi. And also meet up with you all lar, whenever got gatherings.
On another note, anybody know why Ericserve accessories so expensive, especially the HBH-30 and the MCA-20. I love the service and the friendly staff and all, but the prices are horrible. ASking my friend to get me a HBH-30 from Spore, ori SE SPore warranty and only bout RM 370. According to Mr Cho(o)ng, its cos of freight and tax?
Need opinions though, should I wait for the HBH-60?

TOts,
u know other than Ericserv, out side shop selling the HBH-60 for RM700 - RM788? and the ICT-13 outside selling at RM100+ ericserv only RM44.
if u do walk around sg, wang, subang parade and others phone shop that do have those accessories.... u will find ericserv do not sell things with abnormal price.
and about the HBH-60. heard the news will be out after the P800. and for UK.... they having it for 229 Pound.....
the choice is urs....
oh yeah... welcome aboard dude!

@Tots,
Suggest that you should wait for HBH-60. The much anticipated headset... however, the waiting time that makes people piss off...
I found Ericserve sell the accessories in a fair price especially if you are often the Ericserve buyer... you might get discounts... no point buying from S'pore... all the trouble... just to be waranty in S'pore.
Again... it's people choice.  |
