Well, he says that there are three options:
Option #1: The sh*tty, grey wallpaper (most convenient explanation).
Option #2: Different suppliers with different qualities (he doesn’t go by that).
Option #3: Sony used a different software calibration @CES, which produced more vibrant colours and real depth, but the battery/display durability suffered a lot and Sony made a bad compromise (most probable possibility and it can easily be fixed with a software tweak/fix).

Xperia Z is the best selling phone in Japan for the last 3 weeks.  . First week sales were around 140k and if it stayed the same for the following two weeks that would bring it over 400k in 3 weeks.

Oh dear Sony  the V completely outshines it, it makes the V look like its using an SAMOLED.

Until today, there is no other announced phone that is better than xperia z hence Xperia Z is still the best smartphone of 2013 until today. The only strong contender to be announced is SIV and I don't think SIV will be better than Xperia Z. |

LG Optimus G Pro and HTC One, both pretty much on par with Z, all 3 having strengths in different areas, the Z with its water and dust resistants, LG with its huge 5.5inch display and huge battery, and the HTC with its UI, Camera, Audio hardware and incredible build quality, so I'm not quite sure what you're on about, the Z even falls behind in CPU/GPU compared to the other two. The Z certainly ain't the best, maybe a few weeks ago you could've said that but NOW? Hell no!

Anyone from the UK got confirmation of delivery for today?
Anyone order via Vodafone?
Apart from 1 email 10 days ago confirming my order I have received nothing. They said you will get the phone on release day 28 February. I did call them late yesterday and the claim was they are on back order not sure when they are coming in. It should be soon as release date is ummmm TOMORROW. That explains why I have had a few calls on this today. |

LG has nothing compared to xperia Z. Xperia Z UI,camera, audio and build quality is much better than HTC. So, currently, Xperia Z is the best for 2013. Next.

i tried the z a few days ago and it was really noticeable how low volume the sound was, even on top volume it was barely hearable. this alone is a deal breaker for me at least.
