Even with the 2400mah battery, Yuga should be better than Droid DNA as Yuga has a larger battery. DNA's battery life is well above average. |

I hope that the international version will come with 2800mAh otherwise it would be quite dissapointing

Disappointed? why?
Look at the iPhone 5, it has a 1440mAh battery and last almost as long as the droid razr max.
A lot of time a large battery does not grantee a good battery life.
Optimizations and efficient chips in the phone can make a huge difference in battery life. |

Truly agree on the statement.
I see manufacturers that ofter increase battery size, as lazy to do a proper software & hardware optimized.
But Android is an greedy and resource-hog OS unlike simple yet efficient (and boring) Apple iOS , I have to say it too.
I hope to see Sony will make 2013 mid-ranger (Snapdragon S4 Plus) with every single drop count.
They once did it with Snapdragon S3 (Xperia S) but took very long time from competitor in market at a time.

Well i'm afraid Sony doesn't stand a chance against Apple in battery department.....we all know how weak Sony/ batteries are.....but i hope 2013 Sony phones are more energy efficient.....

I think the SO-02E might be Japanese version of Odin not Yuga
Why?
Cuz we already knew that Odin has IR transmitter but Yuga has none
And being a Japanese phone, IR is a MUST
that's just my speculation ) I'm still hoping Yuga will have bigger battery ) |

Japanese sony phones always look big so they have to compromise on the battery to make the phone slim[Arc etc etc..]
some TV and stuff they have |

That would be a good thing. Faster updates, less resources and higher profits for Sony. |

Disappointing, since 2011 I been a big fan of Sony's UI. Just had more style than anything else, it's one reason I prefer Xperias over Nexus. |
