Yeah the city looks stunning. The rain looks wicked as well, especially how it reflects off the road. Didnt think i'd ever say i love an arcade racer more than Burnout, but now i do! |

I didn't like Burnout Paradise's jagged-edged city where you'd crash every ten seconds.

Yeah! It was such a let down. Hated the fact it completely changed to a free running city, the game just lacked direction. No GPS or anything to guide you to the challenge/race. Most of the time i just drove around looking for all the secret yellow gates!
It's getting part-traded for Gears 2 on Saturday morning.
Shame because i loved the other Burnouts |

Yeah I'm tempted to trade too. Kinda weird but the millions of updates to Burnout piss me off. I would rather have them all on the disc from the beginning and not taking up space on my hard drive. Plus updates like the bikes were crap.

Yeah trade it in Oli, best thing for it! Agreed about the updates - should've been sorted from the start, just goes to show how much the developers realised how bad it was when it was released.
Whats Fallout 3 supposed to be like? Keep seeing ads for it but not seen any gameplay or anything |

Yeah I guess I will trade it, but I don't know what games to get out of the coming releases. Except LBP, but that's for another topic!

Nah, never been too keen on that kind of game. Might hire it before deciding.

Ahh the last one was wicked, it didnt win game of the year for nothing Never been much of an onliner myself, just dabbling here and there, but gonna COD is pretty good online. Hard as nails though
Have you played MC online yet? I tried to join a ranked match last week and just sat in the lobby for a minute and no-one joined lol. |

Yeah I've done a bit of MC online. It was pretty good. Plenty of players, but only about half would ever join races. The rest were hick-Americans that just sat there chatting and yelling racist comments at each other.
My only real gripe with the online is that you earn so little money from online races! I would have thought you'd get more because online is so much harder to win with some people having better cars than others.

yeah that annoys me tbh, all i wanna do when i go online is play. Cant be bothered sat there chatting b*llsh*t to some random for hours lol and the concept of just listening to americans sl*gging each other off is a turn off for me. Their voices are so high they're prob about 10 years old.
Gonna try some online racing soon though. I also find with racing games, talking and people talking breaks your concentration. Especially with the speed of MC! I prefer the silent assassin approach! lol |

Yeah I agree, I really wanted to knock one of the Americans in the mouth a few times. He kept on shouting really racist stuff which wasn't offensive to me, but I can't stand racist people.
Anyway I think maybe there are options to just do races in the online menu? I haven't really tried cause I always choose Quick Cruise or whatever it's called, but it might be worth a go.

Yeah people that just shout obscenities are just losers... and people that sing as well or whistle! Or have loud music playing in the background so everyone in the lobby can hear it... lol
So with quick cruise, are there like loads of people driving round the city and you flash your headlights to have a race? |
