can someone pls send me an MMS thru Globe. Globe claims my MMS is active na, pero I haven't been able to send any MMS thru their system. I used the OTA, and entered their message server.
The message starts to send, then when it's almost done, it says "Network or Communication error. please check your settings and try again." I checked and rechecked my settings...they're all correct... unless Globe has new MMS settings that aren't in their OTA.

Guys tanong k lang kung naeexperience ninyo to ha.
Kasi for like 2 days na, most of the wap sites i go to always give me "Ann error occured with the site you are trying to access" or something like that on my t68i. Never happened before but it might load one page after trying a couple of times but when i click some links, it will give me the same error message. Is this Globe's fault or my phone?
Saka, have u guys tried the PhoneBackup software which backs up your phone settings? I did try it before but it doesnt bring back all the settings on my phone successfully. It keeps saying the file is damage but have done it a couple of times and always get the same error. Can u recommend a different software to back up my phone and where i can download it? Thanks |

u shld visit esato more often... try checking the settings at globe mms, email, grps topic. i have posted a settings there..

casper...same error happened to me just yesterday "something is wrong with the page you are trying to access, blah blah"... i think it's Globe. They kept telling me my MMS is active na, pero I haven't been able to send since July! Weird... but I could send through Tactel, up until a few weeks ago. |

I actually did that 619 in fact, because of your posted settings I can access wap again on my phone. But for some reasons, once i have loaded some wap sites, some links would just give me that error which never happaned before anyways.
Like for instance, I will load esato wap, then sometimes if i click the next or previous, it will give me that error. Thats why I am thinking of resetting my phone  |

the phonebackup works fine with me (and yes, it does not restore all the settings. but only my contacts are important, the rest i can do without).
it's possible that the backup file is indeed corrupted. open-it up from a text editor, mababasa mo naman ang laman nyan e. |

casper.....globe's ip is blocking some sites... use the SE gateway instead.
there are 2 globe ip addrss... 192.40.100.7 and i forgot the old one.
the new one cant access some sites..

HELP! on behalf of laffen and kari
they're supposed to leave tomorrow. today is their 21st day in the philippines and is the expiration of their visitor visa. when they went to the immigration office today, there is an 'occasion/party' and the immigration office closed before noon. so, they were not able to get they 1-day extension, which means they're overstaying for 1 day.
question is:
1. can they leave the country?
2. is there a penalty? how much?
any help will be appreciated! |
