As a matter of fact i am Kryps.Brought up in newlands, just up the road from the cricket and rugby stadium.lovely suburb-would love to buy something here in my hometown but everything is in the millions if you want a house and a couple of hundred thousand if you looking for am apartment. Its a very sad affair.how is this for insane. My grandfather bought his house in 1967 in newlands for R7000 and he can sell it now for a whopping 2.4 million.Insane if you Ask me.property prices here are crazy.God i love T9.every post becomes a story of sorts.

I think my Nokia E90 dream is dead unless I can find a sponsor (JK are you game dude) Walked into the new Vodacom shop in Cavindish (very nice indeed, great customer service, very friendly staff and very spacious and well laid out with glass displays with all the different brands, leather couches and coffee tables) And great location-amongst 3 major banking institutions and ATM machines lol Enquired about my upgrade and asked for two extreme packages just to get a rough idea what monster Im dealing with.1,it doesnt come free on any package.2.High end package deal-Talk 500 at 800 per month for 24 months with a pay-in of R2500.00.Wow.Think that was shocking. The contract of my choice is always the Top Up 135.(Lame,but thats all I really need) That is 135 per month for 24 months with a payin of wait for it........wait for it.............R6820.00 CARDIAC ARREST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news is they are getting the W960i very soon and I think if I cant get the Nokia E90 Im going to stick with UIQ3 and Sony Ericsson and get that.Unless in the coming months a upgrade to the Nokia E61i appears on the scene and is affordable.Looked at the TYTNII but thats pretty much in the same leaque cost wise as the E90.And I like BULKY and the TYTN II is anything but that. Wanga send me some free pounds in the post. "I HAVE A DREAM"

The housing situation is crazy indeed mate, and it isn't becoming any cheaper. The house which we bought 11 years ago for R105k was sold for just over R600k the other day. Understandable if it was a big old mansion, but R600k for an open-plan 65sq.metre place is madness. Newlands is really such a beautiful suburb, i spent some time there the last time i was in Cape Town. Got lost trying to find a street in Rondebosch, somehow ended up driving about in Claremont and Newlands.

Everyone on MTN pay-as-you-go just punch in *135# to get more information about the MTN Zone call discounts:-) I had mistakenly thought the special was over but according to a press release MTN only properly launched it this week.

@ da brixsta,

Yeah, it'd be at least a few months if they were to launch any upgraded model, as they did with the N95, E61, 9300, 6230, 8910, 3510, 9210, 7250...etc etc over the past 6 or 7 years.

It was no surprise then that it was presented with just a darker hue of the current N82, due to the still very recent release.

Still, I think it looks quite cool. Great specs too. Had a brief fiddle with the standard silver one at CPW today. It's physically bigger than I imagined, with more girth than expected as well. Gucci will like...

@ Hobbs
Matric is great hey, everyday i wake up and can't beleave ive made it to the final year of school a lot of work though.
Shame man, would have been great if you were able to get a E90, but R6820 is not worth it, could get a TyTN-1 or a HTC S710 VOX for that im sure.
Im also looking at my options for when i upgrade, the N95-8GB and N82-Black look good, and if i want a HTC TyTN-II il have to pay in R2800, so scratch that! July is far away though so for now the N81 is still great!
@ Wanqa
ME LIKEY!! N82-Black, potentialy GUCCI's Next Episode hehe. . . .
