Honami will weights around 190g
And:
The metal power button is so much smaller than the one on Z and the phone is a bit heavy. Almost same weight as Z ultra... 5" and almost same weight as Z Ultra (which is thinner), I guess it's the battery. Yes it's thicker, similar to Z.
It's brighter and more white than Z/V. And also X-Reality colors are not as saturated as Bravia Engine 2. Z Ultra display is better with richer colors and contrast although both are using the same screen. I just did a comparison side by side with Z Ultra. Z Ultra is much better whereas Honami is whiter/brighter. But take it with a grain of salt as I think the firmware in Honami is old.
Tried the camera, nothing to be wow about seriously. There's this bo liao app where you can take AR effect like a 3D dinosaur/fairies in the backdrop lol

I would have preferred a 12 or 16MP sensor from sony, 20 is overkill and I wouldn't even go for 20 on my APS-C sensor, 16 is plenty for me.
its not an overkill if they are using the pixels in an intelligent way.. An oversampled 5-6mpix image should look pretty good if the algorithm is effective.
What about in the 8MP mode?

I personally believe this so called tester is a hoax, this device is about to be released to the masses next month (IFA Product Launch) and when I say released I mean hitting the retail markets, testing of the Honami has been completed a long time ago, official release firmware has been listed on the PTRB
Nothing the guy said could convince me he didn't make it up in fact based on what he did say just makes me believe he's a scam artist, facts that are known about the Honami are the camera app as it's been extracted on XDA already plus the phone is going to be thicker than the XZ due to the increased battery size and camera sensor - plus there's no way an official tester would be allowed to release such information............think about it
I firmly believe he made it up |

Off topic: Sony might launch new VAIO tablet/laptop with new form factors at IFA?

We cannot not see the video teaser anymore :< Sony took it down already
Here are some pics in the video
So they might launch several VAIO Laptops just like last year
Fingers cross for a 15 inch Laptop with Triluminos screen and dedicated graphic card

Just came to post that VAIO unit. I'm very interested to see what it is.
I'm planning on getting the Tablet Z refresh, but if they launch a nice enough VAIO I might bite. The Duo 13 is great, but a bit beyond my price range. |

I'm glad that there are more VAIO laptops this year
The VAIO is nice, but I want bigger screen with better specs
I wonder what is the design of the mysterious Hybrid VAIO? is it going to be similar to the Ideapad YOGA?? |

I know this post is not on the right thread, but I think Sony should consider reviving the motioneye tech for VAIO laptops. I still remember how awesome it was to have a rotating Manual Focusing webcam with my ancient(and dead) PCG-c1x. most laptop webcams nowadays don't come even close to its flexibility, it even has a dedicated 2 step shutter button!!

8mp Exmor RS + AF + motioneye tech = Awesome selfie pics on your VAIO
