Does anyone know why my phone has a blue background for the signal bars but some other phones don't?
Also still trying to figure out how to minimize the file transfer progress bar. |

the camera of the k750i has a slow response...sometimes when u take a picture what you see in the lcd won't appear what you have taken...

I think this is related to GPRS connection. Before i got o2 to activate my sim on gprs stuff for mms i didn't have it. Its appearance on my phone was perfect timing if this isn't the reason! |

I answered that at the bottom of previous page, which you did not read.
According to the wihite paper K750 BT should be capable of managing up to 16 devices simultaneously. |

@Jaffro
You're absolutely right! I switched from GSM/GPRS to just GSM in pref. service and the blue triangle went away. |

@riffola
how did you do that? |

menu, settings, connectivity, data comm., prefered service, select GSM ONLY
this turns of checking for GPRS availability, and thus turns off the blue triangle which is an indicator of GPRS availability.

oh hey that's cool, thanks!
one question though, what does doing "GSM Only" do over "GSM & GPRS" or does it only use GPRS when you use internet services? and on standby, there's only GSM working...
is that right? |

If your data account is gprs, it still uses gprs for wap, it just doesnt check for availability untill you try to use it.

I'm sorry if this already has been answered but I've read through 79 pages of this thread and even though It have been asked a coupple of times it haven't been answered yet... So, please excuse me but I just can't stand reading through the rest of the thread.
A really important thing for me now when upgrading phone to K750i is that my sms-messages can be stored on the 56Mb (or whatever amount it is) integrated memory or maybe the memorycard.
At the moment I've got a T610 and I'm just so sick and tired of being forced to delete sms-messages that I actually wanted to save because there's no space left.
------> So, I need to know before I buy a K750i that there's no sms-limit (or such) in the phone that forces me to clean out old sms-messages once a week <------
(sorry for making such a long post about a short question... =s) |

if your things like pictures and sounds are saved onto the memory card (memory stick duo) then I see no reason why you can't have a huge nunber of txt's saved on the phone. I agree with your thoughts on the t610, i found the limited number of how many i could hang on to frustrating.
as far as I know - from what I've read - you can hold excess of 200 txt's on the k750i.
hope that helps at last!
p.s. I didn't bother reading therest of this thread. 108 pages; you've got to be joking! |

Ah, thanks Jaffro + Numb - I was wondering about why that blue box turned up "all of a sudden" (and thanks for explaining what "loss" you get for turning it off - it's really not pretty ) |
