Guys I know the the 64 is the future, but it is not the tomorrow future, may be the next year or so, then from my view it will be better until the 64 right time come that they focus on electric consumption more for example and so on
For me it will be better to give a while for the major program companies so they can make a 64 versions from there programs and games so when the 64 appears it will be useable than to make it and then wait, now from my view and my knowledge a lot of major program making companies start doing and testing a final versions of there 64 version |

No, not tomorrow, honestly not this year even if Qualcomm did the 64 Sony won't use it before 2015 even I got a rumors, just a rumors and from not that trustworthy sources, that Sony also testing the 64 bit A7 with the ios, honestly I didn't believe so, but I always write any info I got, so if this info have any thing right is that Sony is trying hard in all the OSs now, they have the Android, anf they will build Windows, and already solid they will have at least one Mozilla and they are trying the Ubuntu and now IOS!!!
We will see what will happen, again I am not sure from this info, when I was sure that the Z1s is not the Z1mini I tell it with confidence, but this not yet |

@maia
I guess they both were kidding with you regarding the Tomorrow thing haha
Anyway. Sony and iOS 7? Wait, WAT? I'm REALLY skeptical about that (even you isn't sure), but if it turns out true, the market will be something REALLY interesting...

@supercoolman
I didn't said it would be necessarly good, just interesting
Sony and Apple are in my top 3 favorite tech companies, along with Google. It would be really interesting to what will come up if they make a iOS device.
I just think most Apple fanboys will start to say a lot of BS (which, in terms, is actually true) because iOS is Apple exclusive and bla bla bla...
About Nokia, well, they were using a dying OS. They just made the wrong choice to move to another slowly dying OS.
I can't see why you'd compare Sony and Nokia, because Sony isn't ditching Android or anything. They said that is their focus. But why not try other OSes? If it sells a lot, good for them. If not, they lose some money, but still have a big portion of their lineup using something that is getting money for them.

Sony running iOS is impossible. Apple like their money, and they don't want to dilute their brand by giving it away to other OEM's. |

By the way I said from the beginning that I don't believe much in this rumor, but I heard it and I am saying it now both this and the windows qwerty keyboard |

I'd hate to see Sony's hardware wasted on iOS, anyway. |

I partly agree with you, 64bit is the future, now or later, and it's better to have a seamless and trouble-less transition between 32bit and 64bit...
But the part I don't agree with is for developers.. developers won't create or port any app to 64bit if there's no 64bit devices... why ? because they won't spend money developing something that won't be used at all... they will do what they will get paid for doing.. 32bit !!
The main problem regarding 64bit is that applications compiled for 64bit won't run on 32bit devices ( and OS )... so if there's no 64bit devices out there.. how will people use 64bit apps ? so when 64bit devices are spread and the ADK for 64bit version is out there.. then we might see some companies doing 64bit.. in fact most will do... but most of these will just test 64bit to see what's the benefit of it and this is another reason... a lot of apps actually will not benefit from 64bit and some might have a slight benefit... so if they develop a 64bit only app then it won't run on any 32bit device which are the majority... and if the benefit is not that great in 64bit.. they won't see any solid reason for why going for two apps paths ( 32bit and 64bit ) while they can do it better with only one (32bit) and saving the 64bit efforts for polishing and perfecting the 32bit app !!

Sony iOS ?? that's interesting... but my guess is that Sony is testing the phone/OS as every other company.. they're testing it coz they want to compete with it.. Apple do the same.. I'm sure they have plenty of Android flagships in their labs to see and dig.. and I believe Sony has not just Apple, but Samsung, HTC, Moto, Huawei, Blackberry, ASUS, Nokia, bla bla bla, and Samsung does also.. every manufacturer will take a look at it's competitor products to see them closely...
Sony knows they can't use iOS so why bothering testing it... Apple won't give them this like how Apple control their own desktop OS and no other company can license it... but if Apple did make it.. it will be a major move by Apple as this move will be a truly change of Apple's business model.. personally I feel that Sony might be the closest to Apple when counting design and quality.. but Sony is open more than Apple.. but not in every side too Sony changed in the previews years specially SE days.. they're moving away from property things toward standards ( like microUSB, Miracast, CTIA Audio jacks, ANT+ ) I know they're slow adopting these standards, like BT4 LE for example.. but they like to be unique also.. they supported ANT+ long time ago while no body was supporting it ( and most still not yet )... but now most major makers already had BT4 LE from last year and they just started to have it ( SW2 still depend on regular BT making the connected smartphone drains a lot of battery for this ).. for wireless charging.. Sony tends to not loving paying license.. that's why I think they want their own standard or an open one.. except when the current open standards doesn't satisfy their needs...
