So why would people pay an extra 100e or whatever it will be to buy the ARC over the Hallon?
Im leaning towards getting the Hallon, as I dont like the headphone socket placement on the Arc |

Is it just me, but doesn't the screen in Arc look brighter and clearer than on Neo ? |

The Arc looks far better and neater, especially as the screen on Neo does not go black when not in use. It is also not flush, judging by the above photo, with its surround so will need that much extra attention when cleaning.
Lots will like the idea of video calling, however, it's not very tidy the way it has been implemented above the screen with all the non-flush apertures. The video call camera should have been flush, like on the K850i.

yeah the ARC looks better, but your basically getting the same phone for less with the Neo.
I assume the price difference is because of the bigger screen and bigger memory card in the Arc.
The only difference I can see between the two are:-
Arc has bigger screen.
Neo has front facing camera. |

I just hope it will be 115 x 55 x 12 mm. These are my ideal sizes. Otherwise it will have a similar size to HTC Desire which is a bit bigger from what I want my future phone to be. It has to be pocket friendly after all. Looking forward to see some more leaked photos for XPERIA Duo too...

Xperia Neo vs Arc at least !!! That's a fiercy fight but I still can't go for any of them. Too hard to choose between these two, one has a 4.2" screen and is slim super fashionable and the other has a convenient 3.5" to 3.8" screen with a skypeable front facing camera from anywhere, fashionable vs skype/fring. Why can't SE put everything with plasma led or xenon into the Duo. I would ad that the xperia Neo is a worthy oponent to the Iphone 4, some month late a bit like a certain samsung G810 vs N95 is back baby. |

As I thought after first review of Hallon it`s screen is not the same technology as Arcs, that`s why it look brownish when it`s turned off cause it has some space between the screen and glass and Arc doesn`t.
I`m wondering why Hallon score much more than Arc on Neocore test?

why does the screen in Hallon seem to be indented compared to almost all other phones I have seen....it feels almost as though some protective coating or layer should go over it in the final version (hopefully to make it less reflective and scratch resistant)
at the moment the Arc screen looks way better than the one on Hallon

Well even if the screen protector was placed over Hallon's screen it would have to a very tight fit for it to look as good. There will always be that 'gap' no matter how tight the fit was.

Does anyone have any news of a phone coming soon with a Xenon flash,
or failing that or have any good ideas how I should replace my Satio? |

or maybe for Bravia engine |

Isnt the bravia engine just a software thing? Maybe the screen is cheaper than the arc, would explain the price. Sure looks cheaper on the pictures |

I thought the Bravia engine is only used for videos and media, not for the menus? Maybe the screen is simply better than Hallon hence the price.
Any ideas on the Duo? Dual camera perhaps like the LG (dropped here a while ago), dual core or a keyboard? Everything but the Duo has been leaked in a fair bit of detail, makes you wonder what they're hiding. Surely it can't be just Hallon with a qwerty. |
