I'm using the T68i, if think it can be done both ways because when you create "my business card" it appears in the contacts any way as my contact.

@ ajack, lol, I would put my own number, but that would be stupid! This was so much funnier, and for the fact that I forgot about it for like a week and so my mate had no clue what was goin on, lol.
Oh, have you seen any signs of Edit 21 recently???!

lol, but he's someone that doing that to is just funny. I did have some people that I didn't liked numbers and sent those around a bit, but i never found out what happened cuz i cudn't exactly go up to people I dont like and say, ermmm, have u been gettin any strange calls?? Wouldn't have worked and they wud have known it was me straight away.
Oh and i would like it in Sman if you cud change the numbers of the Vcard, I realise I can do that manually, but sometimes I wanna change it quickly.
Anyway, got a few people today, some guy on the bus saying we're watching you, and another 8910i that I didn't see as I just had Sman running in my pocket, generally what happens! Can't wait for the vibrate alert!!! |

Hi,
Just got a T610. Have done a few Bluetooth scans in pubs etc.. Yet top find anything.
Am i doing it correctly?
Bottom Left icon on t610 menu, bluetooth, add new device - it then searches.
When/If i find somebody how do i send them a message? Just send them a phonebook contact?
What do i NOT send? i.e. what shows them my number?
Also what is sman?
Havnt taken my t610 to college yet as its got to be unlocked from orange so i can use my 300 free text payg o2 sim card in it.
Appreciate any help
Chris

I just upgraded from a t68i to a t610.
I thought that you didn't need to do the search. If you go through the motions in sending a vcard through bluetooth, it would automatically search for you. I could be really wrong - i haven't started BJing with my T610 but i am looking forward to it.
Has anyone managed to BJ those hideous sh!te NEC 3g phones yet???

dazbradbury gets my vote. That's gold.
I jacked a 6310 at the shopping center at lunchtime but couldn't see who it was. I'm still yet to actually see one of my victims. Cept I guy I work with but that doesn't count.

About those 3G phones, i couldn't even send some pics over to one when I wanted to, let alone bluejack it! Those phones are so pants...
I had the opportunity to play with one and I thoroughly hated it.
Anyway, about seeing your victims, I allways find that if i spot a 7650 or 6310 user, they generally have their BT on, so i then go over and turn Sman on.... Works alot better that way, then you know who ur getting. |

Yeah bluejacking with Sman is nice and easy but you can't really know your victims so easily =/ I'm waiting so much for the new version, so I can feel 'good vibrations' whenever I have a successful bluejack Then I can look around and see my victim!
Today at the Hitec exhibition I got a few Blockias and an IPAQ also Too bad I don't have a good story to tell about them since I have no idea when it happened
