@ Gucci,
Wow, cool ad, and Elektra-esque babe! Thanks for posting that, boet. I do appreciate it and it's great for me to see SA ads like that. Hell, I'll take the SA RAZR2 ad anyday, compared to these naff ones here, LOL.

@ Jojo,
Hi mate. What a long, great day out. Just got home (visited friends after the show) and we're exhausted. I'll upload a P1i pic now as a 'taster', and will upload more later on Sunday when I have more time.
Again, the P1i was occasionally prone to blurring unless I was fairly careful and steady, but when I got it all right (like the 'white balance' settings etc), wow, some really good P1i pics, which I'll post.
Thought I'd start off with a Kawasaki :

Off to bed now. G'night, mate.

When is the R6 firmware going to be available for us SA P990i Vodacom users? Who should I start emailing? One plus eventhough I didnt do an upgrade is I did a master reset and formatted my card.Only transferred my contacts from the backup I made and have got rid of all that rubbish that gets distributed on the phone over time. Its so refreshing starting from stratch.

Pleasure boet the mobile industry even in SA is now huge lol, phones are being released here just after they're released in UK.
@ Hobbs
Eish wish i could help you there, if you were using a NOKIA i'd just say change the product code to Euro1 then update.
Well after you encouraged me to use my N80 as a modem to update my N81 i tried it, it all went fine, the V11.0.045 FW downloaded in 45mins,its a 76.5mb file, THEN when it came to actualy installing the FW the PC found that sum drivers were missing since i had installd parts of the PC Suite, the other files of PC Suite required Windows XP FP-2 and i only have FP-1 so it didnt update my phone, so im still on the V10.0.035 fw, what i want to know is where in my PC has the update been stored?

JUST UPDATED THE FW!! i think when i used N80 as the modem the PC wen it came to the actualy update go confused and tried to update the N80 so i tried again just this time used the N81 as them modem to update it and it was successful, my N81 now has V11.0.045 fw, working well, the ram at boot up has decreased down to 41.9mb at boot, ah well still enough for me.

@Gucci I see you are into your s60 devices . Have you ever tried any Samsung s60?
@All Does anyone know where can I buy a 3Kw inverter? (in SA) It is said the power shortages won't be sorted out for 'some time' althou for the last week or so, with God's help, we had no blackouts.
My brother send me a quote he got it somewhere on the net:
'Nigeria has got lot's of oil but no fuel, South Africa has got lot's of coal but no power'. How true

Is a 'thing' what looks like 2 wires at one end and another 2 at the other (that's 4 in total). If one were to connect the 'right end' to a battery then, by some 'induced' miracle (or is that iductance) electricity will come out at the other, just right to power home appliances. Yeah, Yeah I know - why should one need a thing like this in the first place, afterall a battery works with electricity, but yeah I want one because the electrician from EsCUM said so
Are you sure did you spell my nick right? Something looks not 100%, ah what - close enough though. I have trouble with spelling too

More P1i pics coming up. (BTW, the pic of the luscious one in the previous post was also with the P1i).

Quite funny, while there's a huge motorcycle show going on in some of the Excel Arena halls, there's a wedding show going on right next to it in other halls, and a massive toy fair on the other side of the arena.

Not sure about wearing a kilt and sporon to a wedding, even if I was Scottish. (far right).

Next up is a bit blurry...but anyway... Far Canal (LOL) were selling their choice t-shirts again:

Bling Vsepa, with Vespa handbag :

BMW's new 1200cc machine:

Keewl helmet design, LOL.

Loving mp3fiesta.com ... loaded $19.90 onto my account and having fun downloading some obscure, hard-to-find songs (at a piffling 10 cents a song) that I've been after for some time.

@ Hobbster,
I've downloaded the font packages. Will give it a go during the week.
