i read thru all the big grammer between @Ihe and @Aya... i found the "source" to be AYA's comment on all of us that still have our MTN lines when he had dropped his. meanwhile, @Ihe didn't help matters with his complex talk. so guys....simplify... so that i can join in o! basically, i agree with @ihe on some points especially on WHO can be classified as "intelectually lazy"... except if @AYA meant something else!

Hello guys. Been driving for more than 4 hours. Went to Abeokuta & got back recently. @coola: The problem is not whether anyone keeps or drops a line. The issue is, do whatever you think is justifiable in your situation. But the results of your actions will tell whether or not you did the right thing. Can u help us with a definition of intellectual (or is it mental) laziness, pls. @ihe: I have my list ready. Whatever u say, most Nigerians cannot be that smart if most of them have nothing to show as proof of their wisdom. Or are we gong to attribute everyting to witches & wizards?

I know MBA holders who cannot manage a department, talk less of an entire business. Knowledge is useless if it cannot be applied to produce positive results. Most Nigerians are brainy. We acquire degrees & knowledge. The mental potentials are there, but they must be diligently & aptly applied to our everyday living. Keywords: diligently; aptly.

@AYA I dey o! On the issue of "intellectual laziness", can U give us an example of a country/nation that are "intellectually fit/strong"? Are U saying that just because we in naija cannot produce stuff, then all our brainpower is useless? What about NEPA, communications, rent, insecurity? Can an intellectually fit person perform in such a condition? Can people like Emegwali perform their wonders in Ikeja Computer village with all that stress??? I think our environment slows us down.

Our environment? That's laughable. Who created the environment? The people create the environment. Note: Not all Nigerians are lazy upstairs; we have a significant number that stand out. But for our nation, our society, our environment to glow, that significant number must increase & become the majority. For now, we celebrate mediocrity daily as a nation.
