Just reading some news sites n im surprised how the iphone can get all these positive reviews (best smartphone ever) when its been nothing short of a wimpy, crappy upgrade....when a beauty such as z1 can get such a beating over things like viewing angles n bezels...double standards galore...sony deserve so much more than this...I will never go Apple...freaking morons they are...sorry for the rant... |

^so true.. suffice it to say that people just expect more from sony. and all that's doing is pushing sony to be better and better each year. i can live with that

I was playing with iOS7 few days ago.
It's the crappiest thing I've seen in years.

Here is a review of the Z1 from T3 not sure if it has already been posted. It isn't the mode detailed review granted but it does say the screen is better than the one on the Z and the camera is fantastic too. Happy Reading

Agree with what you said, there have been a lot of good impressions and reviews for the Z1, but for some strange reason the public are blind and rejects all the good things the Z1 has. They always doubt the good things it has.
Then post just a very small negative comment about Z1 even if it's just one post, and see the tons of replies you get, with people claiming it as truth  not even giving it a bit of doubt if the negative comment is even legitimate or not.

They are supposed to upload a video of them removing the screen protector to see what happens and if the Sony logo comes off.
If anything, I might just grab a regular 5 inch screen protector and stick it on top of the actual screen protector and replace it if it ever gets scratched. |

thoughts:
1. sony should either engrave its front logo on the the phone material and not on the film which looks cheap, or not print a front logo at all. (on a side note, some people don't like companies logos in the front so it could be a good thing for them).
2. iphone 4/4s is also covered in front and back glass and apple don't stick a film to it, how come? is the z1 without the film more sensitive to shattering then the iphone 4/4s?
