Agree finally it looks like you got the point mib (and the others) was making Now enough of this and back to the tread.
A few weeks back some members argued with me, the C905 will be released at the end of august begin of september while my best guess was closer to christmas I want to know if thouse 'experts' still stand by their release date. After all end of august is like next week.

who knows. I never bother speculating about phone release dates - they are always late anyway

whats this fuss about video recording. If its so important then why iphone is selling buckloads without recording and many basic stuff missing. But no one is complaining and are happy to wait in long ques no first day of launch. Why? |

The iPhone is not a cameraphone. So why should it? The C905's main function is to be a camera. I think you've missed the point somewhat. |

C905 is a cam phone made to capture picture, not recording video clips..
If you can't live with QVGA then you should stay away from it..
How ever for some VGA rec is important and for some else they don't even care about it..
And I do believe C905 will be a big hit..

I agree. For so many people, video specifications is something they don't even look at when purchasing a phone, so its hardly going to make a dent in its sales if a few people don't buy it for that reason.

Okay this is starting to become really boring now. We're going over the same points over and over again! Let's move on! |

Yeah that's true actually, but everytime we get it sorted between everyone, someone new turns up and says its sh*t.

That's it! VGA discussion now banned until futher notice!
(But seen as no-one seems to be actually reading the thread and digging up the same topics, this post will probably be ignored too!)

Well i think this phone looks and sounds good. Though i will say in a phone or normal camera 8.1 mega pixels is more than enough. I certainly wont be buying any future phones that come out with 12 mega pixels i seriously hope it dont go that far as we all know too many mega pixels means nothing. Also i dont think more larger mega pixels is going to be good in any phone as the sensors are just too small. |

Simple, people who want to get snappy UI with instantaneous touch interface and really, really stylish outlook will all go to iPhone because no one else gives such UI for price combination therefore specs hardly matter. On the other hand, C905 boasts of being a premium IMAGING device, and the video simply doesn't deliver by not being the best that it could be, so it's neither here nor there. So people who truly want an imaging beast can always opt for other alternatives like N958gb or Samsung's i8510

Anyone knows if the copper version will be available in the begining, or just the black one?
I'm so feed up with black devices imo.

I'll be getting the C905, and I will be buying it primarily for the camera (but also for A200 my preferred ui, wifi, hsdpa and other stuff). I don't really care that the video is only qvga, if I want to video shit I'm happy to think ahead and use my digicam. For other spontaneous video needs I can live with qvga
