@bavlondon2

I haven't tried your videos, but some others encoded with H.264 and an extreme high bitrate. Anyhow, W960 displays the video, starts lagging like a mad dog, runs a few frames for some seconds and stops, while the audio is still playing.

And yes, I think this can be solved with a firmware update.

Picked one of these up at Harrods VF store, FOC upgrade. Debranded using XS++ and flashed.

Haven't used a UIQ3 handset in ages, might take this out with me this week and see how it goes. Can't think to replace either my iPhone or BB Curve currently though. Didn't even really need another handset... oh well!

There is no binary compatibility within that accessory and the W960 that's why it wont work, unless our beloved hackers would make a driver binding to enable us to utilize that accessory.

and second: there's no need for that type of accessory: W960 has a RADIO reciever! and it's much better than just having a transmitter!

W960 is the general product and the letter index stands for the variation for the regional markets

The letter index is a variation regarding of which region the phone is to be sold for. for ex. "i" stands for international which means it will be sold on europe, asia except china and japan, "a" is for american market that's why we often see SE phones like S710a etc. and finally "c" stands for china which implies it's region of release such as M608c and so on.

darn! got my 2nd set today, sold the first one, made some loss, but well worth it! it's now centered! i mean the screen.....so beware, when you r getting yourself a W960, try to measure every inch on each gap on the left and right hand side. my case was it wasn't balance, i think SE indonesia failed it's quality control check!

i have changed the CDA to World Gen 1, now updating via SEUS, glad to be back again

Heh That's me. I posted that video in connection with the post at uiqblog and now it appears that it wasn't H.264 anyway, so no need for it to be there. Sorry

With the W960i (or P1i, I think should be the same), can you zoom in and out while shooting a video?
Thanks.
