Okay, many wonder why I "go off" about the posts in this thread. It is proven that people simply do not take the time to read the threads.

The issues about the EROM has been addressed over and over about 4 or 5 pages back, but EROM questions are popping up. If you take time to notice, those that answered the questions have stopped. Given up, quit, thrown in the towel, simply because it is apparent that posting answers to question go unread.

With this being said, I think Laffen should consider 2 forums. One for the paying customers where serious users can meet and post info and a general purpose forum.

This is not a flame but the last 10 posts are vindication that I am not picking on people per se but on the behavior of those using this forum.

On O2 - UK with a branded K800i. Still no update available, either via SEUS or over-the-air.

I've tried it and it works with one big flaw: Each time it loads a new picture for the slideshow it wants to confirm the right to read and write the picture.
You can't tell the applet to always accept read and write rights, you only can accept it for one time

Just for information;

I have an EU2 Generic UK K800i CDA102511/2 with R1CB001 firmware (from wotanserver) with wotan updated EROM (R3A016 is it?)

It did used to be branded O2-UK.

I am in north east england and SEUS says that it is the most up-to-date version.

QUESTION TO EVERYONE, PLEASE:
Why CAN'T I launch the internet browser shortcut button anymore? When I pressed it, which should have gone to Homepage, it didn't do anything. No effect at all. Hm, is it only me?

EDIT: sorted out! We MUST now HOLD the button for a second or two, NOT JUST PRESS it as it was in the previous R1BC001. It's not nice anyway. It takes more energy to just launch the homepage. Or is it only me?
On the other hand, the activity menu button works just normally. No need to HOLD the button.

Impressive - gone are the days when one had to run to the servicepoint for an update. Just updated mine, took 10 mins or so. Keep up the good work S/E.
