I think SE is waking up 2 the market. I saw the flash demo of the T600 & was disapointd-no BT, IR, GPRS. But i gues its SE's way of bringing costs down & besides most people dnt use them or evn knw what these are.

@jam, not all BT adaptors support object exchange profile which allows the T68 to send pictures, etc. to the PC. My Anycom BTcard supports that profile and comes with it's own software for various file transfer needs. |

Gowin
mall tour to promote SE like what nokia is doing? is that what you mean? good idea, but we should have a good product to sell! shall we bank on P800 alone? so, what about the latest T-series coming out?.... i am absolutely a SE fan, but i dont think those new phones cannot compete with nokia's latest fashionable ward. we have to admit nokia produces "phones for the masses" faster, and end up with greater appeal. baka kaduluhan nito... let's just hire the sex-bomb girls to promote SE in the malls !!! (desperate na ba ang gano'n?) |

....but if we here at esato, as SE fans, will analyze it closely.... is nokia really promoting innovative technology. i don't think so! yes they write down GPRS, BT, etc, (which are not orig ideas from them...)as new features on the new phones, but what are those? see, the selling point of nokia is.... that's it! they have a NEW phone! and the masa will buy it. YUN NA! |

guys, observation ko lang. siguro tama lang ang SE sa ginawa nito na paisa-isa o minsan matagal bago i-release ang product. tingin ko talagang pini-perfect nito ang produkto unlike nokia na labas ng labas tapos maraming bugs. Sony Ericsson will not release a product that can be compete with kaagad. remember nangyari sa T39, R520 at T68? walang makahabol. |

Walang nakahabol yeah i guess in features but in sales? Maybe a little. I like se esp t68 but kung ganito cla kabagal kaht na sabihng their phones are better than others, i can see them going out of business, which i hope not. Competition is good and customers will benefit from it so i hope SE releases somethng new again

stone....your observation is correct. ang iniisip ko lang eh if puro perfect phones nga, but it doesnt sell good naman... malulugi sila (dont you agree the R520, R380,etc, are great models. but didn't sell well. until na-outdate na sila). so we'll end up with cellphones whose company will close down soon. bad yon, specially to us (we'll have unsupported, orphaned units. mahal pa naman). what we were thinking is.... SE definitely continue producing great units, lead the way. then, produce models which are also for the masa, which will be their so-called bread and butter. yung profit doon will be used for research, and production, to create more units in the line of the mentioned t68, t39, r520, etc. |
