The mrs was showing me some of the pics that she took with her K550i on Friday night, when we were by Tower Bridge. Dang, I'm very impressed with the pic she took with that 2mp cam. Fair enough, part of the detail on the top of the 'towers' is kinda being swallowed up by the night sky, but it looks like the K550i wasn't nearly as bothered by the spotlights around the bridge like the P1i was, and there's some good detail in there for a night shot:

@ Jojo,
LOL, I bet that left the dude's 'girlfriend' feeling rather 'deflated'...

@ Hobbster,
Yipppeee! Look forward to receiving them.

EDIT: Good ODI win for the Proteas, but eish it must've been difficult in those conditions.

@ Kryptik,
Did you hear about the chaos last week at EL's Frere Hospital when the generators failed during a 4-hour power shedding session? The poor staff in ICU literally had their hands full, to say the least...

Yep, it was mentioned on Algoafm, boet. I can only imagine the panic that staff and patients must have felt!

Whenever there's an outage i can't help but feel sorry for those who are greatly inconvenienced by what's happening. Granted, Eskom publishes their load-shedding schedule, and the radio stations keep listeners informed as to which suburbs are to be "switched off" at certain times, etc., yet it's scant comfort for those whose livelihoods depend on the power being up and running.

Sony Ericsson today published the financial numbers for 2007. 103.4 million units was sold in 2007 compared to 74.8 million in 2006

Does anyone know 2007 sales figures for the other brands? (Nokia...Motorola ect)

i remember reading somewhere that Nokia had sold just over 100 million units by the end of the second quarter last year, and that their total sales were greater than the combined totals of those manufacturers in 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions.
