I can't believe that this is an original image.. it looks awful. Heavily processed, you can see it in the water and around the clouds
Ya, no way .. an 8mpix image that is 1 mb in size .. heavy jpeg compression. Move along
Either that, or I am zooming past 100% on picasa ..

you have to get the full size image to make a crop ... you can't judge by Zooming !

if you zoom at max magnification, you can see compression artifacts on the upper right edge of the frame. (which is almost invisible at the bike sample we had) I don't think Picasa is doing that sample a justice

^^^ I don't know picasa but maybe they're applying their own compression to shrink down image size.
Nevertheless I couldn't manage to view the image full size (8MP) other than zooming with picasa itself, dosn't look that good.

Sony should leak some proper samples... there is no way this phone produces images with such low quality. Its either heavily compressed, or from a different device. |

^ me too, is yours the same?
My guess is that 20MP would have been the better option to take pictures with and that there is some heavy compression going on there.
Previous picture (of the bike) had 4,75MB and 20MP resolution, this has 8MP and just 1MB, looks very supsicious..
