Oh so I think it's around P27,500.00 here in the Philippines. One dollar is approximately P50.00 here in the Philippines. I can already buy three SE K800i on that amount of money here.

After 4 months or so without internet, im finally back online!
good to see the w980 in stores already and the N96. They seem to be getting faster with bringing phones out now.
Went into vodafone and had a play with the w980. Cant say i am amazed with the w980 music quality. My N82 is better i thought. Prob cos i got a sony mp3 player and they are superior!
Thinking of getting one of the 8 megapixel phones out at the moment. C905 yes, although my eyes are interested in the LG Renoir. Great video on LGs these days!
Oh and by the way Oli, im from Palmerston North

Welcome back mate. Three months is a long time to go without internet!
I've seen the W980 dummy in Vodafone stores and it looks really really nice. Obviously I couldn't try the phone though... How is it overall, not including audio quality?
Let us know what you decide to buy if and when you do! If you get an LG, we could have a little NZ 8 mega pixel shoot-out when yea g gets his C905!
And thanks, I've changed your location. Not sure why I assumed Auckland.

Haha that would be funny if you did!
Yes i got awhile till i even get enough money for either LG or C905!
The W980 is good, takes awhile to load up though. Once it has, very quick and responsive. Camera is placed in the worst location and you have to hold it in a real arwkid way. I really liked the front music touch buttons really really good! Walkman software is great and easy to use. Perfect for texters too, the keypad is one of the best ive used. The softkeys are on the small side however. I dont feel that its worth its price though, espcially when you can get so much more for the same price. |
