Music is good for you. You can take it as a hobby or as a parttime profession. But NEVER take it as a full time profession. There are lots of risk involved. Unless you become the next anu malik or a.r. Rahman, your life is wasted. And reaching that heights is impossible. Ppl will tell you to go ahead. I will not. There is too much at stake. You can also consider teaching music, but as part time ONLY. I hope you get me.

sorry to say,i agree with govi. I'm not trying to discourage anybody from pursuing their ambition but most music artistes were born with a musical mind. With the explosion of todays music world, you'd have to extremely creative in finding new tunes, lyrics,etc to carve a niche of your own in the music community and to actually earn while your at it

Also most music nowadays with the exception of a few contain the tunes of older songs and songs from other languages. Some of A.R rahman's music have the tunes of arabic music and even michael jackson's songs

@ wiz let me tell you some thing if you believe you are good if your heart wants you to go for it then give yourself a time limit decide now where you want to be in say two years time . If you make it to your target great go ahead else have an alternative ready. Hey we dont want to miss another rahaman do we?;-)

@blu i think thunderbird is part of mozilla firefox. its actually the email client. |

yup thunderbird is an e-mail client but i dont think its part of firefox, its like how outlook is related to IE

@gov my system has crashed.il send it in 3 days. thunderbird is an email client which is a part of the mozilla package. its way faster than outlook. |
