Since Sony is already selling the imx220 to other oems, I think there's a high chance that we'll see a new sensor on the new flagship. If I remember correctly, someone at Sony stated that they'll keep their best sensor first to themselves some time before they sell it to others (which made Samsung actually furious when they finally decided this on the Z1)

Why you don't give credit to the source website and put a link to the source website that published these pics and glue your facebook page address on it making it look like you published them? they don't belong to you. this is not a nice thing to do. it is called stealing. give credit to the source site! not to your facebook page. also, it is quite annoying that you post links to your facebook page as if you reveal some new info. foreign language links are relevant if they reveal something new because this is an english speaking forum. please, stop being a thief. i think the moderators will agree.

here is a link to the true source website: http://se-update.com/more-xpe[....]-man-who-has-put-his-hands-on/

Wow, awesome design...best of Z2 and Z3...
Please, please have wireless charging...I will miss the magnetic charger ports but as long as they have wireless charging it would be sweet...I actually hate having to plug my phone to charge..

Sometimes, I feel that having the audio jack and usb port in the same side ( bottom is good ) is better than having each one in the opposite sides of the phone, specially when the phone is in a pocket, car cup holder or a bag...

Even though I know that those are not high quality press pics, I still have to say that I don't like what I see. It looks kinda "cheap". But to be fair I have to say that I'm one of those who find the Omnibalance design getting boring now.

They may have a new 1.2/3 sensor.not every 20.7MP 1.2/3 is IMX220.remember back then they had Z1 without announcing IMX220.

@amirprog

Trust me those images don't do the design any justice. The almost glass looking sides look much better in the flesh believe me. Although the design hasn't changed much from the Z3 remember this phone is targeted at those who are likely coming to the end of a 2 year plan such as the original Z, HTC One and GS4 to name a few and when you compare to the original Z the design has come along very well.

A slightly older quote (from last week), don't know if it was posted:

From what I have heard Sony have waited for a better binned version of the S810. It runs slightly cooler and draws slightly less power and Qualcomm have worked on software optimisation in the meantime. It won't be great, but it won't get hot and it will benchmark well. Sony delayed shipments by 2 months from April to June.

Still it is a skip IMO. The Z3 is great, and the 2016 flag will ship with S820 and their new phase detecting CMOS sensor.

Hopefully there is some truth behind it...

Where the hell did GSMArena.com read about 4GB of RAM?

You see the design details clearer in the coloured versions of the phone. All black phones look pretty nondescript in photographs.

I think wireless charging would have to be present, what other USP could there be?

About change in design
Why should they change it?that is their signature design.just like apple or samsung. No offense but it is about public knowledge not some geek's opinion.lately people began to recognize Sony phones(i'm talking about average guyz not tech junkies like myself)specially here in US if you show any Z phone to people and cover Sony brand they won't know what it is but Z3 is changing it.that is what every company does.same goes for samsung.different material'same design.and others

^I'm not asking for a radical change in design. I don't want a revolution, but an evolution, that's what I want. Samsung did that with the Note 4 and the S6 (edge). They still look like their predecessors, but "fresher".
