Just watching the Play review video he says the screen lacks brightness. The Play does not have BRAVIA or Exmor does it?? He says the Play plastics squeak

No bravia engine, no clear black technology, it's just a normal LCD with 16M colors:
This was most apparent to us outdoors when we used it side by side with Sony Ericsson's own Xperia Arc, the latter handset giving us better contrast, saturation, and of course, brightness.

@Bonovox yes i do as it's the same as i have for my x10i (but i personaly thought it was to small, but i will have to wait and see i guess)

I can confirm that xperia arc is now available here in dubai via axiom/fono shops for 2399AED.
For me, midnight blue is way better than silver one.

LOL! So @Bono! You finally got your sences together and ordered an Arc! Thats great! Guess you finally fell for the "slim and sexy"... Guess we will compare swedish and uk arc:s instead of Neo and Arc!!
According to my network dealer the phone will arrive in my mail this week. I truly hope they are right! |

Yes,but the waiting is doing my head in  And yes it's slim with curves in the right places. Having spoken with  sales a few times they did confirm it is Friday for release day. I reckon stock may arrive day or so before that.

I have just placed my order of the Arc with Carphonewarehouse. I was told if I were lucky I may have it Friday, Monday at the latest. Once I get my hands on it I will give my take on this gorgeous looking phone.

Yes will have to keep busy to avoid thinking so it will go faster. I would prefer silver one but Sony Ericsson only allowing the other colours for contract not sim free at the moment. Even though already in a contract.
