@pogie, The Filipino Bookstore has been around a long time already... it is being run by the same owners of the defunct Bookmark.

Good morning PCC!

I checked out SMARTs new free phones and they're giving away the Siemens ME45 for the Choice plan... Hmmm...

@Ferr - Depends on ur budget. Lahat ng klaseng food meron sa Ortigas. Sabi pa ng Singapore friend ko, mala-United Nations daw kase represented ng halos lahat. Try the Aysee near Ultra. Its been advertised somewhere int he thread before. Mura pa!

Guys, last night's temblor was registered at intensity 4. Its epicenter was traced in Mindoro, particularly in Puerto Galera.

@"Smart" subscribers - tanong ko lang if Smart is charging you for those hidden roaming carrier charges? Is it a flat rate, like 40c/min calls and 10/text or are there other charges? Im really pissed with Globe charging us even for incoming calls and sms when ur using intl roaming. Carrier-dependent daw!!!

@rotavap,

1) the 40c per minute is from your mobile (and you are in the philippines) to an international number;

2) when you are roaming (not in the philippines), roaming charges (incoming/outgoing) varies depending on the roaming partner of your home mobile network.

i switched to smart (from globe, a long time ago) because my statement with smart is "clean." (read: no hidden charges)

@henryj,

please post your question at the semicon corner.

@henryj, * making inquiries from semicon and smartnet
please be patient with those threads.

they dont receive those messages in real-time, so dont expect them to reply immediately. besides, those threads aren't official support channels, if you like instant answers, try to contact them directly by phone or visit their offices.
