Not yet I am afraid. A firmware is 'due'* but whether it will arrive this week, as is rumoured, remains to be seen!

I have no big issue with R1L, why change something that works?

The only real issue is the loss of video quality since R1A.

R1L is a stable firmware, hence the long delay before it's successor is released. However I and many others still run R1A due to the higher quality video. I get the occasional crash, which is rather annoying, but stick with the firmware solely because of the video quality issue.

Hopefully the next firmware will combine the stability of R1L with the video quality of R1A. I am pretty sure that is all most of us require from the next firmware.

Now just a second here. I have stuck with SE from T68i, T610, K700 and now K750. However I have also used a Nokia 6020 and realised how lacking SE software really is. After all these years the SW is still unacceptably slow for a phone of this quality. Another problem is inferior audio quality / reception, but I'm not sure this can be resolved through firmware upgrades. The K750 may be an incredible diverse phone but when it comes to the basics SE are left trailing. The fact that SE encourage users to upgrade firmware at home says a lot about the production firmware.

Spot on! Bluetooth 2.0 might be faster to connect but its also faster to disconnect just when you don't want it to...

And the disappearing memory stick issue is a pain, too.

Like we've said before, firmware updates unless major only get released once every 3 months or so, so i dont expect an update available until the second half of September.

An update this week would be very welcome though, especially if it fixes the video quality.

I thinkj you'll find that both reception and audio quality were fixed in the k700 and remain so in the k750/w800/k600

I'm pleased that we can do software upgrades at home, nothing worse than having to send off and wait

I had a selection of nokia 6200 based phones and they all had a software induced crackle on incomming calls when first released

SE is the best again (but are still playing catchup from the 8210 days - the first small phone with excellent bat. life)

Hi everyone!

I have K750i phone. Does the latest firmware from SE Update Service fix the "freezing screen every some minutes"? Or is that a hardware problem?

May be my questions already been answered in this forumn. But, due to too many threads, I cannot find it.

Thank you.

The R1J fw was much faster than R1A or R1L... Hope that the new fw will be faster....

Hi everyone!

My phone is K750i with firmware R1L002. And It has "freezing screen problem" which happens very often and the main annoying thing is that it is really hard for people to call my number as if the phone is turned off. not to mention it usually takes me 10 or more attempts to make a single call...

So, yesterday I updated my firmware via SE Service Update website. After about 4 hours successfully downloading and installing the firmware to my phone, nothing is changing to my phone. (and when I see the firmware version, turned out that it was the same as before, ie. R1L002)

My questions are:
1. Is this a hardware problem?
2. Is there anyway that I can install SE firmware ver. R1J002 (I read from the first thread, it says that it can solve the freezing problem)? if yes, how to do that?
3. Which version of firmware actually I have to download and install? Where can I find it?

Thank you... PLEASE HELPPP
